Active Minutes while not wearing

This morning when I synced to my phone it showed I have have 56 active minutes for today, I checked the graph and they are were in the middle of the night when wasn't even wearing wearing my Alta, any ideas what might cause this issue?

It's great to have you here in the community @KerstenAmy. That is so strange. Are you still showing this data on your Dashboard? Do you recall leaving the tracker near a fan or A/C? The change in air pressure or temperature can sometimes affect what your tracker picks up.

It is still showing on the dashboard. It was on my night stand where I leave it every night, no fans or A/C. It didn't happen last night so maybe it's just a fluke. I contacted support via Twitter and they suggest a reset so I'm going to try that just to be safe.

The same thing is happening to me! Today I had 27 active minutes while my Fitbit Alta wasn't on my wrist.

I am going to try resetting it, they said if it continues happening I should call back.

Same is happening with me from last 3 days on a stretch fitbit charge 2 shows active minutes and there is reco d of heartbeat in cardio and peak section when I m not wearing it for full day

This has happened with my Fitbit Alta 4 days in a row. Is it a bug with the device or with the app?

I got my Fitbit sense.. the latest version. I left it on table the whole day... It is recorded with 20 zone minutes... I am not understanding what is happening... Is this a bug?
