Alta Battery Symbol & Charging Issue

My Alta will not fully charge. When I plug it into the charger no lights/symbols appear. When I take it off (over night charge) a battery symbol with moving diagonal lines remains and battery doesn’t fully charge. I can tap battery icon away but it always comes back. Help please!!

I did the restart and still the same battery icon from the picture. Hoping to get this fixed or replaced ASAP as I use this as my alarm in the mornings! It also no longer shows my text messages if that helps.

Try cleaning off the part on the fitbit where the charger connects. I did so with a q-tip and mine is fixed now !

I’m having exact same problem. I’ve cleaned the charger part, reset and followed instructions in ‘my Fitbit won’t charge’ document. Any other ideas please. I’d be grateful 👍🏼😀

I too am having this issue with the Fitbit Alta.  I have tried multiple times to reset the device with the charging cable and button, as well as cleaning the charging contacts on both the cable and the device.  The issue still is occurring.

 

Can you help?

I am having the same issues for the last four or five days so I missed out on a lot of steps. what is the next step to get my Fitbit to work?🙁😟😬

It's not charging and when it does charge it only last half the day. It's
been on the charge all day and it's still showing half charged.
