Can you replace the battery for Alta Fitbit? Mine is only 2 years old. The battery says it is charged but after a day and a half dies. When you plug it in it says the battery is about 3/4 charged. Fitbit is saying it has to be replaced. I am not sure I want to continue using Fitbit if I have to shell out $130 or more every two years.

Same here. I got offered a 25% discount towards purchasing another Fitbit. No way am I spending another couple of hundred dollars on another throw away item that you can’t replace the battery.

There are third party vendors that will replace the battery for around $35, but first try to reset the fitbit by watching another youtube video that may fix many problems.
Try to reset your fitbit or send it to a third party vendor who replaces them for about $35.

they only offered me 25% discount.
Im disappointed, I spent the money on this product and started having charging probelms with it being less than 1 year old and being now less than 2 years it will not hold a charge, nor stay on. I was offered a 25% discount however after paying what I paid and now I suppose to trust this company again, that is too much money to not have a product work, the company could at less replace my battery, only a 25% discount says how the company really cares.

Hello, I believe I have had my Fitbit under two years and when I now charge it it last less than a day. It says that it is fully charge but then it will die before the end of the day. Can I get a replacement?
Thank you for your help!

I spoke with customer service and did all items on the list of "why my battery won't charge" It charges but as soon as I put it on my wrist in about 10 minutes it quits working. I don't know what to do.

I called Fitbit & they helped me reset mine, because it wasn't coming on. After several attempts, it wouldn't work & they told me it was dead and they would send me a coupon (I think it was 20% off) for a new one. After we hung up, instead of throwing it away, I kept trying the hard reboot. It finally came on & I charged it fully. The next morning, I put it on & it kept going really fast through all of the screens. After 2 hours, the battery was dead. None of the screens would stay on long enough to read them. I was reading some Fitbit forums, and many people were having the same problem. Someone mentioned that it happened right after a Fitbit app update. That's also when mine went haywire.
If Fitbit does an update, and it messes up everyone's device, they should message all users & put out a fix for it. I will stop using Fitbit, if they are the kind of company that operates that way. It makes me wonder if they're wanting more Christmas sales.
