Can you replace the battery for Alta Fitbit? Mine is only 2 years old. The battery says it is charged but after a day and a half dies. When you plug it in it says the battery is about 3/4 charged. Fitbit is saying it has to be replaced. I am not sure I want to continue using Fitbit if I have to shell out $130 or more every two years.

Can I contact you. Mine's right around 2 years and I'm super choked it's dead asw I use it religiously and really like it. I am however not in place to shell out big money on new fancy watch. If love help with a discount and options for new one if that's what appears to be the only option as battery life is not changing and not replaceable for a battery.

Absolutely! dhs59@comcast.net. Put Fitbit in the subject, or I will delete it. I don’t open emails, if I don’t know who is sending it.

It’s a Fitfort. I use the Very Fit Pro app.

This Is my third Fitbit in five years! This is getting ridiculous! No the product does not seem to be worth the money that I’m putting into it. I do love what you all do for the community of health. But if I keep spending this kind of money on Fitbit I could hire a trainer! Whether I’m under warranty or not you should be able to do something else as it appears that the life of the Fitbit product is right at two years! I think that pretty much sucks and seems to be a real rip off!
Batteries can’t Be replaced and then the courtesy discount when your product is not under warranty is not sufficient to help cover the cost of another product on another item. I just think it needs to be re-thought.

I am having a similar issue to all on this post. I received my alta HR as a Christmas gift 2018 so it is jus over a year old, and of course, out of warranty. Around 5 days ago it stopped holding a charge for longer than 6 hours. I found out because it just died on my wrist halfway through the day after being fully charged that morning. I would fully charge it and within an hour it was already drained to 75%.
I have attempted all the suggestions outlined in this forum. Tried resetting it. Charged it for 2hours after it drained itself. Cleaned all the prongs and such. Nothing is working. In fact the hold time on the battery seems to be getting worse.
Suggestions?

I would like to know what my options are to have my Fitbit repaired or replaced. It wont hold a charge at all. The battery symbol comes on while it's connected, but as soon as I unplug it it won't stay on.
Please email me at amandarooski2001@gmail.com
Thank you
Amanda

Since we are getting the word out, hopefully people will stop buying their product, and they'll be forced to make the needed changes. I'll never look back!
My suggestion is to ditch FITBIT and use another device.
I switched to a Fitfort, but got an Apple Watch for Christmas.

JuanJoFitbit,
But you all are NOT making ANY improvements!! These posts have gone on for YEARS!!
Fitbit OWES its consumers CLEAR verbiage in its packaging that states "product will NOT last more than a day, a week, a year".
Fitbit is outright deceiving its consumers. Shame on Fitbit. Shame on you for your repeated posts thanking us for our feedback.
From ALL your very disgruntled Fits*it owners.

Google was supposed to buy Fitbit, maybe they will clean house, if they were smart.
A permanent solution is the use of a hammer. Surprisingly satisfying. Buy a diffeerent brand.

I have a fit bit alta that the battery is no good. It works when plugged in but immediately after you unplug it goes dead. I'd really like to replace the battery? Is that possible?
