I bought my Fitbit Alta HR March 28, 2018 and on Sunday (April 21, 2019) when it was half-charged it just died and won't turn back on.
I tried using the reset button (pushing three times) but to no avail. Help?!?
Best AnswerThis has also happened to me. I've tried new charger, changing USB ports, resetting and nothing happens. Screen is completely blank and no vibration at all when charger attached. Does anyone have a suitable solution?
Best Answer6 pages of complains here, numerous other posts from people reporting the same. Yet no solution from Fitbit. Because the heart of the problem is possibly a programming obsolescence. Solution ? Accept we have been scammed, shift brand once for all, and spread how bad Fitbit is around, sothat others don’t get scammed. That’s all we can do.

After many attempts to contact FITBIT with no success, I am disappointed
and shocked that a no support no response protocol is acceptable.
However after giving it further thought, it does seem as if quality
service, and doing the right think is an expectation of the past. A lost
art. SAD.
You are absolutely correct. SHAME ON YOU FITBIT

Best AnswerSame here - battery no longer charges properly. Also, mysteriously, I no longer get detailed sleep reports because the heart rate monitor not taking consistent readings anymore. But there is nothing wrong with my fit bit hr: What is Fitbit up to? Is this a slow walk to “obsolescence”?
