I bought my Fitbit Alta HR March 28, 2018 and on Sunday (April 21, 2019) when it was half-charged it just died and won't turn back on.
I tried using the reset button (pushing three times) but to no avail. Help?!?

mine is just a little over the 1 year and it suddenly started shutting off for no reason, also having to charge it everyday all of a sudden. when it shuts off, it still has half charge. I chatted with someone and he couldn't help me and wanted to give me a discount to purchase a new one, like I will waste more money for something that doesn't last very long. I am so disappointed in this and for the price it should last longer than a year. Ridiculous

Mine worked fine until last night! It has a full charge but will not come on. Any suggestions to get it to work again? Thx

I just plug in my charger and push the button 3 times every 3 seconds until it comes on.
Many, Many restarts. It still stops whenever it feels like it.

My Alta HR was fully charged on Saturday 7/20/19 and I felt it vibrate when I reached 10,000 steps partway through my stint as a walking scoreboard at golf tournament. I was excited and expecting another 15,000 or so step day. When I got home, my device was non-responsive. I read other help suggestions here, just did a reset, got an exclamation point symbol which means the battery was totally drained; it is now about 3/4 charged. I just synched with the FitBit app on my phone and it appears the device stopped at 11,123 steps on Saturday. Why the sudden drain of my battery??

Mine did exactly the same thing on the same day. I am trying to charge it now. I was hiking and was over 30000 steps when it quit.
