Alta HR not charging

My Alta will not charge with my charger. I have tried different plugs in the house and different things to plug the USB port into. It's about 5 years old, but now at 50% battery. Any ideas? Not easy to find new chargers for this one.

Hi @cbs21  five years is a good lifespan for the Alta HR. You'd have to check with third party retailers, like Best Buy or Amazon to find a charger. The Alta series was retired at least three years ago, so it might be hard to get the charger with the restart button on it. Guess you already cleaned the contact points on the charger and Alta HR to see if that helped. Might be time to think about a new device. The recently released Luxe is a huge step forward from the Alta HR that I used to have. Could be one you'd like, too.

I upgraded from an Alta HR to an Inspire 2 about a year ago. It took some getting used to, but I'm happy with it. My Inspire 2 has a more features than the Alta HR, but it's still fairly simple to use. Mine lasts two weeks between charges. That's the main thing that I like about it.
