Alta HR won't sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently changed phones (oneplus 5 to oneplus 7T) and now I'm having issues with sync. The settings between the 2 phones are all the same. I've already tired all the troubleshooting tips and tricks that were previously posted and nothing seems to help. It looks like my app can't find my device. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my device, logged out and back in, checked all app settings and also turn Bluetooth on and off.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Akrish

Unfortunately the one plus 7T is currently not a compatible device for the Fitbit App. You can find the complete list of compatible devices here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 What I find strange is that the previous phone you had, the one plus 5, is also not listed but you were not having issues then. (Or none that you mentioned)

I have noticed that some users have been able to get their Fitbit Trackers to work with non compatible devices but there may be times where you will face issues like syncing as well as other similar issues.
According to the troubleshooting steps you have already attempted failed to resolve the issue my only suggestion would be to call Fitbit Customer Service. Here are ways you can contact them: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs

I’m sorry I was unable to help more. Hopefully Fitbit Customer Service can assist in some way.

Welcome to the Forums, @Akrish and @SunsetRunner, thanks for the input.

I was able to see here that our friend @SunsetRunner provided some instructions in order to fix this syncing issue. Was this the answer you were looking for? If it was, I recommend marking the answer given as the best answer. By doing this, other users with the same inquiry will be able to find a faster response.

Now, if your inquiry/issue wasn’t resolved, let me know and I will be glad to help you out. 🙂

Hi @AlejandraFitbit . I am still having issues with syncing. The app recognizes the tracker very randomly and refreshing it doesn't help. Is there a way around this problem? I don't see why I am having issues with this phone when my old phone was the same brand and had absolutely no issues.

Thanks for the update, @Akrish.

Have you checked if you have a compatible mobile device? If you haven't, I recommend checking this by taking a look at the article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?.

Keep me posted. 😉

The list says oneplus 6 is compatible but not 7T and neither was my older phone ( which  was a oneplus 5). I am curious to know how the old phone worked but the new one isn't.

Hello again @Akrish

I understand your frustration that your particular phone 7T is not listed as a compatible device. I will tell you that the Fitbit Team says “We're continually adding more devices, so if you don't see your device here, check back soon“ as you can see here in the article: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315 Hopefully your particular phone will be added in the near future.
