Alta HR won't sync

Hi, been having problems with my Fitbit syncing over the last couple of weeks. Had this one for long time and no problems and now can't get it to sync..please help!

I have also been having the same issue. I can't get it to sync on my phone or laptop.

Mine hasnt synced since sunday. I read in another post  that its the update that caused this.

Me too. Nothing actually since 30th Jan. Really frustrating.

I finally fixed it last evening. I deleted the app on my phone and reinstalled it. As soon as I signed in it synced.

Well will sometimes sync some of it but not all of it but generally take a lot longer xx

Is it staying synced? Thanks for your feedback. I have been emailing customer support. The suggestions given so far have not been successful.

Mine still doesn’t work properly. I may go with another tracker after many emails back and forth with the support team. They are not hearing me when I explain in detail and include screenshots of what the app is showing.

Mine stopped syncing on my Android phone a while ago. I have just started using it again recently and syncing it on my iPad. It wouldn’t record my exercise yesterday on my iPad then wouldn’t sync - app kept saying I needed to be connected to the internet (which I was). Tried logging out then in again. I now cant even login as it’s telling me I need to be connected to the internet (I am writing this message on my iPad so am obviously connected to the internet!) Please advise as I now have no way of syncing it.

I have same issue. Have reset fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled app several times (restart phone after uninstall). Nothing works. This stinks. The device a isn't recognized at all in the app.. It can't find it.

Ya, I know. I was thinking about getting a new Alta HR but since so many are having this issue that doesn’t seem like a good use of my $.
I feel like the customer support just leaves me out to dry. I get a lot of basic ideas from them (all the things everyone has tried) and that’s about it.

Don't buy a new one. The same thing will soon or eventually happen with the new one, as it did when I had my Alta HR replaced.

I agree. I think it’s not wise at this point. I have had other Fitbit’s that just plain old stopped working due to age and damage but this is different.
