Alta screen too dim

I have an Alta and cannot see the screen except in the dimmest of light. It has never been used in water or showered in/ swam in etc. I’m wondering if there’s a fault with it?

Hi @kjb16  you've done nothing wrong, it's just the way the your Fitbit is. I have the same one and it is hard to read in sunlight. Mine is getting over two years old, so I'm thinking it's partly age causing the dimness. The newer style devices have the ability to make it brighter, which is nice.
