Calendar alerts repeating incessantly

I've seen this reported in the past but I haven't seen if the issue is resolvable. I have calendar alerts set up up to notify me on my Alta HR but sometimes my Alta will buzz to remind me every minute or two for a full day, which is annoying! I'm dyslexic and rely on calendar alerts to remind me to do stuff, but I'm unsure why it's still buzzing at me even after the event has ended. It doesn't do it for all calendar alerts, but seems to happen every day without rhyme or reason (I've investigated a lot!). Can anyone help? Firmware is update, the app is up to date, I've tried restarted the Fitbit. Thanks muchly in advance!

Also affects Charge 2.  After first FitBit calendar notification at the correct time, I get additional later at seemingly random times over the next day or so.  That is for normal iOS calendar event set with alert at time of event.  For calendar event with alert a week before, I got FitBit notifications randomly between a week before and the actual date of the event.  On the iPhone, calendar alerts occur only at the expected times.
