Device not tracking sleep

I sleep 7 or more hours sometimes and my fitbit still tells me to “catch more Zzzs” I don’t understand why. Even after 9 hours it says I need more sleep!  What’s going on?

Hi,

I’m not sure when this started maybe a month or so ago. It used to say good
or ok or something below the number when you see the preview but now it
just says the sleep score and then when you go into it anything less than a
80 I need more to catch more zzzs even if I’d had 7 hours of sleep.

My Fitbit just completely doesn’t report sleep on certain days - randomly- 3 times in the past week?

This has also happened to me — a lot.  Not really happy about it.

Came on here to report the same thing. It never used to say catch more zzzzs, just poor if I'd had a bad night's sleep. Since that changed, it has said catch more zzzzs for every single day regardless of how long I've slept for. I have a Charge 3, which makes me think it's an app issue if it's happening on different watches.

I just got mine to work for the first time in two weeks; couldn’t reset the watch but today succeeded for the first time — and got a score. I reset within four seconds, not 8 (previous attempts to reset had failed.)

But contact Fitbit because the problem is annoying!

Hi, Ricardo.  I have been trying for about six weeks now to get my Alta HR to report sleep details.  Have tried re-set; different band position; and several rounds of email with customer support.  I’ve done all that’s been suggested.  I still get at most one night a week’s worth of data.  Truly frustrating, and I’m just posting here to say that the problem remains.
