Fit bit display going blank EVERDAY

My fit bit display is going blank, and stops recording steps etc it started off doing this occasionally a several  months back and now it doesn’t go more than 48 hours without stopping and me having to do a restart. It’s ridiculous for it to be breaking down everday. Help

Hi @sideshowalli It sounds as if your Alta HR is dying. The restarts you are doing are not solving the problem - just a temporary fix.  The Alta HR was discontinued a few years back, so yours is probably getting elderly. Time for a new tracker I think.

@sideshowalli Thats fitbits way of saying that they no longer support the ALTA as they have known about this blank screen issue for years. What fitbit will do is say your alta or alta hr is dying & well email you a discount code for 35% off the online purchase of a new fitbit exclusively through their website & that youll only have 30 days to buy a new one or else theyll cancel your code. dont waste your money as i have- im on my 3rd defective/dead fitbit in 4 years; buy something else more dependable with a company that makes a device that lasts longer than 12/14 months
