Syncing with Samsung A50

I recently got a Samsung A50 phone. I have tried to connect my fitbit alta to the phone but it isn't working. Does Fitbit support the use of a Samsung A50 and if not when will it be supported?

I turned off the Fitbit connection on all my apps and switched them over to my phones internal pedometer instead.  Tired of waiting

it's been 6 months since this A50 question of NOT being supported.. still not on the list- any updates on when it will be? My Versa is virtually worthless to me if it doesn't sync to my phone or receive notifications. It does not work more than it works.

Thanks in advance- I'd really rather not change to a samsung smartwatch.

I completely agree! My versa worked perfectly with my A50 until about a month again and now nothing- it was also suggested to me to get a compatible phone... really??? I'd rather get a samsung wearable than buy a new phone!

I am sorry to hear about your experience, I totally understand how you are feeling. We don't have a specific date or time-frame of when the Samsung A50 will be listed as compatible, but please keep an eye on this list as our team is constantly updating it.

Personally I'm sick to death of this speech.  Gave up my fitbit after waiting 3 months for the A50 to sync.  Best thing I ever did.  Now I track with the phone, easy peasy

Have you updated your app? Just asking because that is what solved my syncing issues. After I updated the fitbit and phone sync without issues.

I have updated my app, deleted my app, reinstalled my app.  I am sick and tired of begging Fitbit for my PURCHASED device to work properly.

I gave up waiting and I did get a Samsung galaxy fit and I am so glad I
did. I love it! And it works so smoothly with my A50. At this point even if
Fitbit gets its act together I won't be going back. Good luck. Hope that
Fitbit comes through for you soon.

I got a Samsung Galaxy Fit and love it. I have absolutely no issues with it
so far and it does so much more than my Fitbit ever did.

Which did you get? Does it also give you text, calendar, etc notifications like the Versa is supposed to do?
