unable to sync even though recharged. still shows wrong date, time and also show a calorie count, although there are 0 steps

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. First, I'd like to let you know that the time on your device is wrong because of the syncing difficulties you're currently experiencing. Also, the calories amount your account is showing is because of your BMR. To learn more about this, please check: How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned?
To move forward with the syncing difficulties, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your phone that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
