@Leighsterrr You should be able to use WhatsApp with Android. Check out this notifications article on our help site. Notifications will use your default texting app, but you can select WhatsApp instead. ![]()
Currently trackers with notifications capabilities are limited to your default phone app, default SMS app and in the case of the Alta and Blaze your default calendar app. WhatsApp does not use your cell carrier's signal, it uses an internet connection like email and web browsing. I don't know that there is any intention of adding other types of notifications, but you can make suggestions for new features here.

I have a Galaxy 6 and gosms pro is my default text. I can't receive any text notifications on my Alta. I do however receive call notifications. How do I fix this?
Best Answer@Nurseanne Are u saying, u set up WhatsApp Notifications for iPhone?
Best AnswerHello Andrew,
I can see messages from Whatsapp on my Alta. Looks realy fun.
But I can't choose for a calendar in the settings of my Alta.
I only see Call notifications and Text notifications. Not a option to choose a calendar.
Do you know how this option will apear?
Regards,

Hi @JaneDoe! 🙂
Thanks to my friend @ErickFitbit, I was able to get some directions for this:
1. Select the Alta from the tracker tile
2. Select "Call and Text Notifications"
3. Select "Calendar Notifications
4. Choose the calendar app that you'd prefer to get notifications from
Things to Note:
- You'll need to have another calendar app already downloaded
- This will not work with Outlook.
Hope that helps!
Thank you Andrew,
I am using Outlook that is why it won't work.
So I download another one.
Thank you.

Hello everyone! I'm happy to see new faces around! 😄
For setting WhatsApp notifications in the Alta, you would have to open the app, go to Account, tap on the tracker tile, and go to Call and Text notifications. You will be taken to another page, where you can select if you want to receive notifications from the default messaging app or any other compatible messaging app.
Please keep in mind that WhatsApp notifications are only available for iOS.
Keep me posted if you have any questions! ![]()
