I have a Versa 2 I use with my phone. I am fine. My husband's One finally has died. I want to set up my old Alta for him. We have a brand new Windows 10 computer. In the help, I think I read that Windows 10 does not work with Fitbit Connect. If not, how can we use the dongle for the Alta on this new computer. We have four dongles here at the house, so finding one is not the problem! I hate to be so clueless, but I am new to windows 10 which complicates things. We had Windows 7 up until January 4.

Assuming that your computer has built-in bluetooth then I would first try downloading the fitbit app from the microsoft store. This should let you logon to your husband's account and add the Alta.
If for any reason that doesn't work then try using the app again but with the computer's bluetooth turned off and one of your fitbit dongles plugged in (the app can be a little fussy about bluetooth versions)
If you get nowhere with the app then fitbit connect should still work. You can download it from http://www.fitbit.com/setup (don't forget to select "PC" rather than "Windows 10" before starting the download). You will need a fitbit dongle as fitbit connect will not work with a computer's standard bluetooth

Many thanks to Steve and others who answered my question about my old Alta and Windows 10. I gave up and told my hubby he would have to start using his cell phone. I was forced to start using the phone when I got my Versa 2 and I was amazed that I liked the phone app just fine. He is still grumpy about the change, but he'll get over it. thank you to aall who responded.
