Afib notifications set up and history greyed out

I can't setup irregular heartbeat notification on my charge 6. I'm in the U.S. when I hit the setup button it goes to a gray screen and locks up. I have to restart the app to use anything, and every time I try setup it does the same thing. I've shut down app, force stopped it and cleaned cache. Stopped and restarted the Fitbit, and nothing has helped. I'm very frustrated as this was the main reason I bought the device.

I have exactly the same problem with my Charge 6 in the UK.

Any updates on when this will be corrected.   AFIB tracking is the main reason I use this device.

Same here, keep trying to get them to fix it and it's not happening 

I have the same problem I can not view my AFIB history it says it is on have tried everything problems started last time the app was updated, and I think when Google took over.

The only way is to completely dump the Fitbit Google connection via complete reset. Create a new email address and then download the app again through Fitbit only, steer clear from Google as long as possible. In 2025 when the app fully merged and you no longer have a choice if the Google merge is still bad you might have to switch to Apple. Google botches yet another perfectly good app.

My Fitbit not connected with Google. I have done all the resets. Nothing helped. Waiting for Fitbit to give us an update.

That's a bummer. I don't think Fitbit will be updating, Google purchases the app so it's on them.

I take this back, apparently there is currently no fix. I feel either a refund of the premium app cost or 1 free year once they get it fixed is in order. We should ALL push for it.

Same issue here on fitbit charge 5 and Android. AFIB monitoring is the reason i purchased this fitbit. Is there an update?

Is  the Afib notification feature now part of premium? It does not even show up as an option under health assessments!. What is going on..!

For me on the versa 3 I was required to pay 79 bucks for the afib
notification to work. It worked splendid until Google purchased Fitbit and
now it's useless, a waste of money... I must admit the feature may have
saved my life as I had a trial flutter that the zio patch could not detect
but my Fitbit did detect it and my doctor performed an ablation. Now I can
go 3 miles in the mountains in steep terrain without getting winded and I'm
getting even better day by day. The irregular rhythm notifications proved
to be an invaluable tool (when it worked).

It caught afib detection on me also only sign I had was hard to breath but no heart  pain, I would have never known I had it if I would have not had the app.  I never had to pay for it was included on my Versa 3 when Humana gave the watches to us during covid.  But yes now since Google took over Fitbit the app is all messed up, so sad Google has F things up.

setup a Sense 2 with a lot of trouble today.  Finally got it setup and mostly working after multiple reboots, install/uninstall, etc.  But I cannot setup irregular heartbeat.  Gives the exact same symptoms reported in this thread.  Click on Setup and goes to a blank screen where the App freezes and has to be closed.   Hopefully you’ll have a fix soon because this is a main reason for having this smartwatch/tracker.

Problem is Setup irregular heartbeat is not functioning.  Selecting “setup” results in endless grey screen of nothing.   Therefore article you reference is not very helpful because if a person follows those instructions it does not work.

What is odd on this thread is it’s showing “answered” as if there is a fix. No fix available as of yet and even uninstall and reinstall, force stops, forget device in Bluetooth don’t solve for me. Others reporting same issue. Shouldn’t be marked as “answered” if the answer is not fixed. Strange.

Same for me!  Some saying its a premium feature now?  Most rely on this feature. Heard the Fitbits only last for 2 years?!  What?!  

I used to really love Fitbit. Hope they fix this issue soon!!

I have discovered that it's a useless endeavor until Google makes it right
on their end. Nothing can be done about it. Very frustrating.

I know right it looks shady to mark the posts fixed while there is nothing done yet to address this issue. i'm regretting going with Fitbit now so frustrated.

Ya me to they say fixed, and it is not they will not respond or seam to do anything one agent told me to factory reset, but then you lose all your data
