Fitbit Update 04/24/2017: Hi everyone -- Our Android team appreciates everyone's feedback in this thread and are working to fully implement the new Android Dashboard in the upcoming 2.48 release.
I am closing this thread as all feedback has been captured and reviewed by our team. Thanks again for all of your constructive feedback as we continue to improve Fitbit products and services.
Fitbit Update 10/04/2016: Hello Android Community! Some of you may have took notice that your Fitbit app has updated and you now have the option to view the new Android Dashboard (see screenshot below).
The new Dashboard design for Android is currently only available to our external closed beta group. We currently have the beta group closed, but some of you old school Fitbit beta users, were able to get in before we closed the group to the public.
For those of you in the beta, feel free to share your feedback so I can pass it along. I will have a more concrete timeline of official release to share with everyone when I get a confirmed date. We're taking our time to make sure the features are all working up-to-par. Thank you in advance for the feedback!

I have the alta and an android phone. For quite some time on my dashboard there is a pink banner that states "try a prview of the new dashboard". When I click on it it just shows a screen that says "new dashboard preview....we're wokring on a new look for the dashboard and it is now avaialble for preview"
When I click on the screen nothing happens. how can I get the new dashboard or get rid of the message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and the banner doesn't go awy.
Thank you for your help!

Please give us the option to keep the current Dashboard. On my (relatively small) phone screen the current numeric display is very readable. But I find the new graphics quite hard to interpret, and the numbers too small to read without my spectacles.
The switch to these graphics tiles was the main reason I stopped using the Dashboard on my pc. The current phone display is far preferable, please let us continue with it.

Take my word (and the word of many others on this thread), you do not want the new dashboard. The pink banner will not go away but will not harm the old dashboard 🙂

I don't like it at all. I prefer the current one. Please don't make me change to a bunch of white circles!

I mostly like the new layout. Only complaint I have is that it is now quite a faff to get to the setting alarms on the fitbit charge hr... Was much easier before but now it is tucked away from all the main menus.

For me, a visually impaired and color blind user, it is highly important not to migrate to the new dashboard until it is able to be customized regarding font size, colors to gain contrasts and support dark theme. Or offer a dedicated theme for low vision users.
The new dashboard is by now useless for my eyesight due to low contrast icons and small fonts.
Unfortunatly many apps are changing towards an all to bright background while presenting non scalable information in low contrast colors. Whay not provide a small setup for selecting prefered color.

Custom size and color of the circles would be really helpful, and it would help to get used to the new look for more users.

THANK YOU!
The new dashboard is fine on a computer screen but just not for a phone screen. I had been off my fitbit for awhile and changed it; I am so glad that I was able to get it back, even with the pink banner

I switched back to the old one also, but I could get used to the new one over time. Showed it to a friend and they wanted to switch to the new one right away.
BobbyD, It is better to burn out than it is to rust.

To me, the fundamental problem is I can see all I want to with the old dashboard without scrolling. With the new one I have to scroll to see the fields important to me.

I can only preview the new dashboard. I have installed & uninstalled the app. It works fine for my husband but not on my phone or tablet.
