I've had an issue for a few months now where my logged food doesnt accurately show up on the main screen icon, and instead have to open the full food log to view my calories.
Starting yesterday, the food log is not displaying my calories at all after adding them. Hours later, they might show up, along with all my other attempts to log my food. It's been a mess, and I've had to resort to just writing it all down.
Customer Support told me to log out, restart my phone, log back in, and try logging. That didn't work. Then they said to uninstall the app and reinstall the app. That didn't work either. I'm still having this issue today, and it's quite frustrating because it's like the main thing I use this app for.
Is this some bug that just needs addressed in an update? My app is up to date, having an update done two days ago. Anyone else having this issue?
Edit: I would like to add that this only seems to affect the quick calories input. Any specific measured food I add seems to show right up, but since I use quick calories throughout most of the day, I cant accurately track my food anymore.

I am just repeating what I have said before for the folks who are just starting to have food issues:
I only use the app and calorie counting became an issue with the May 19th 3.59.1 update
After the June 1st 3.60 update, nothing changed. In fact, things got more glitchy! I contacted support, who gave me the usual tips. These actions wiped out all of my calorie data back to 5/19
I belive you are not seeing the 3.60 "cure" in playstore because it simply did not work!

I have found that the Nutracheck App syncs with the Fitbit website; much better than the Fitbit App.

Hello everyone.
I greatly appreciate the feedback and recommendations to the current situation. Please note that his has been escalated accordingly and Fitbit is working on a solution already. Please be so kind to answer the following questions to help us further investigate. Are you using the Quick Calorie Add function? If not, how are you logging your calories? Let me know the exact steps used to log the calories.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know what Quick Calorie Add is. I am searching for foods in the database and adding them that way, or scanning barcodes, or a couple times creating custom foods for items that are not in the database (e.g. meals from Hello Fresh). When I create custom foods, I use the Detailed view to add the cholesterol, fiber, protein, etc. Here are some screencaps of the issue as I'm seeing them:
In the first screencap, you can see that the calorie widget appears as if I haven't logged any food today. However, I took this screencap after I'd logged my lunch. The widget has been stuck like this, never displaying any calories, for about two weeks now.
When I open the calorie feature, you can see that it is tracking what I've logged for today, even though it's not displaying it on the dashboard. However, you can also see that Sunday's calories are showing up as Zero on the bar graph for some reason.
But, scrolling down, it appears the food I logged on Sunday actually was saved, even though it's not showing up in the bar graph. Also, the color-coding for Sunday is incorrect; I was actually over, so it should be red/pink.
Basically, the calorie tracking is all over the place.

Oh, in addition to the issues I outlined in my previous post, my lists of Frequent and Recent foods haven't updated in two weeks, since the issue cropped up a second time, either.
The issue first appeared last month, but I was able to resolve it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. When the issue appeared again earlier this month, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, but that didn't fix it this time. Both times, it seems that creating a custom food triggered the error, but I'm not positive about that.

@RodrigoMFitbit To "to help us further investigate"??? You guys are *still* investigating and don't know what the issue is??? What happened to "we are working on a fix"??? You still haven't been honest with us about what the situation actually is. This is really disappointing. How about making your FitBit employees actually use the app and report back their experience?
If it helps, I have tried to enter food every way possible - quick calories, scan bar code, add new custom food, select an existing food. It's all broken.

Yes! I'm new to Fitbit, so I wondered how long it takes for frequent & recent foods to update. Mine still says there are no frequent/recent foods at all. I created a custom food on day 1, so I dint know if that triggered it or not.

Hold on. The next request will probably be, can any of you fix this?

Lisa411, this is part of a bug the app is experiencing. Usually, frequent, recent, custom, and quick calories show up right away. Mine hasn't been working for about a month. People started reporting these issues back in April. The mods check in from time to time with canned messages. It does not appear that Fitbit has any kind of clue as to what the actual problem is. For me, at least, everything except food is working fine.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for getting back with the requested information. The reason why we asked for that information is to evaluate this situation since there are different issues experienced with the Food tile, and some are specific to the way the food is logged. However, I understand where you're coming from and I apologize for any inconvenience.
This issue has been escalated to our team one more time so they can work on it and bring a permanent fix. I appreciate your patience and feedback, and I'll update this thread as soon as I have more details to share.

I don't use quick calories as I need to see my macros not just calories. I either scan the barcode, search the database or custom build my foods.

Are they ever going to actually come up with a fix for this app loosing everything I've logged for days/weeks at a time for calories? It's been months fighting these issues. I'm a patient person and I'm about ready to drop everything Fitbit and find something else. When it works it's great, when it's broken (like the last couple months) it's the most frustrating thing. I'm tired of deleting and reloading the app just for it to work a couple more days at a time.

When I search for foods and click on the selection, nothing happens except for a blank screen
for example if I search Cup A Soup, I can see what I am looking for [Classic Tomato Cup A Soup ] but when I select it does not display the product details, just displays a blank screen so I am unable to add this food product
