Fitbit app usually crashes many times when I was navigation on Google maps. It's very frustrating because it happens when I'm driving and it's very distracting to reach out the phone for dismissing the crashing dialog to continue driving.
I'm using pixel 4 xl and android 10

- Log out from the Fitbit app.
- On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
- Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your phone.
- Open the Fitbit app, log in and monitor its behavior.
If the issue persists and you get the crashing dialog you mentioned above, please take a screenshot and share it with me with the information requested above to further investigate. For instructions to attach a picture in your reply, check this post.
See you around.

I just posted this in another thread yesterday:
FYI this has recently started happening to me in a Motorola Moto G5s Plus. Fitbit version is 3.1.1 and Google Maps is 10.30.2. Phone is running Android 8.1.0 with August security patches. Fitbit will crash over and over whenever I'm using maps. I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit but that doesn't help.

Hi @calanan. Welcome to the Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for letting me know that you're having a similar behavior, as well for sharing the other thread where others are talking about this. You did a good job in troubleshooting the app prior posting! It seems that the Fitbit app isn't compatible with your Motorola Moto G5S Plus phone and that might be the reason why the Fitbit app isn't working correctly. Still, let's continue working on this together. Besides uninstalling and reinstalling the app, did you try the other steps posted above? Do you receive an error message when the Fitbit app crashes? If so, please take a screenshot and attach it in your reply so I can further investigate.
I look forward to your response.

Hi, I did try the steps above but the problem continues to happen. I have used to Fitbit app with my Moto G5S Plus phone for well over a year with no issues, even when Google Maps is running, until just recently. I do not receive an error prior to the notification that the Fitbit app has crashed. I will try to get a screen shot of that notification if needed. I try to submit the crash logs when possible.

FYI I just had it happen now during a drive. It happens every four minutes regularly during Maps usage. I missed one screen shot at 12:38 but here are a bunch...
