When I receive a phone call it used to display who was calling, now it displays the same contact all the time. So if My husband is calling me it says my mum's calling me on the fitbit. It's happened 3 times now. And not just with my husband calling. But always says mum's calling.

Nope, no fix yet. The "best answer" here in the thread says that they are aware of the problem and working on it. but my hopes are not high on them fixing it, due to the banner at the top of this page talking about an iPhone problem. iPhone will always come first before Android.

Has this been fixed yet? I'm still getting the incorrect name.

I just got 3.7 back on my phone. Uninstalled 3.8. enabled the setting on my phone for install from unknown sources. Googled Fitbit 3.7 āpk download. Found it on Softpedia.com . Installed. 3.7 back. !! We'll see if it works. I'm sure it will.

Update 3.7 did not work. So it's probably the firmware on the tracker itself. 😞

I got a hold of 3.7. didn't fix it :(. So probably the firmware on the tracker itself. not the app

Most people going back go to 2.95 or 2.90. They seem to be the ones that get notifications working.

I will work on a step by step this weekend and try to post it by Sunday evening. I'm assuming you are running an android device, not apple.

If you are looking for how to turn off updates, this us the process.
Once you have the old version of Fitbit installed, go the Playstore and search for the Fitbit app. Once you have found it, click on the three dots in the upper righthand corner. In the dropdown, unclick the "enable auto update". You will no longer get updates automatically installed. Is that what you needed?

Then I have no idea what to do. I installed 2.9, which you have done. I turned off auto update, which you have done. Mine works and yours doesn't. The only difference is that I have Samsung s10e. I'm sorry I can't help. 😥
