@Rachfitness53 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that you can't add your swim data properly. Where are you trying to add this information? If you are using a web browser then please clean its cache and cookies and if you are using the app then log out, restart your phone and log back in. If the issue persist then please share as much information as possible about the device you are using, its OS and app version.

Let me know how it goes!

I'm not able to enter the distance I swam on Friday in metres. It only recognises the first 3 numbers which is annoying. It was fine the last time I did this (the Friday before). I only get a choice of metres or yards. Having the same issue with my child's page as well.

I've just discovered the same issue. Worked on Tuesday 5th Feb but not today.

Manually entering data in android app. Have restarted but same issue persists.

Only swim in km distances so need 4 digit entry or km option.

Third Fitbit. I had kinda hoped the Charge3 would be better than the 1 and 2 and was excited that it had a swim mode. Not only is the swim mode total rubbish but now the app won't allow manual correction of distance or input of distance greater than 999 units. This will be my last Fitbit.

Hi, I have to auto-add the exercise, which is fine, but i only have the option to add metres or feet and only in 3 digits.  So if i swim 1500 metres or 1.5km, i have to add it as 999 metres or two work outs.

Anyone know how to change this?

I have tried settings, but that only has the option to change between feet and metres

It seems to be a weird bug as there are several posts about this scattered over the different boards. I will flag a moderator for you

Hi @JLP500, are you sure you posted in the correct tracker forum?  As far as I know, the Alta HR isn't waterproof.

Hi @Dawngsx There have been several reports of this over different boards, so I think it is some sort of bug. Hopefully it will get sorted soon. One user reported coping by entering two different swim intervals as an interim fix, so that might be worth trying
