Charge 2 text and call notifications not working (Galaxy S7 edge)

I have a Samsung S7 edge and my phone and text messages are not allerting my Fitbit. The notifications is switched on, I have synced,I have turned Bluetooth on and off, I have re paired the devices and still nothing. It used to work and then just suddenly stopped. I have tried all the Fitbit help and troubleshooting. Can anyone help?  Many thanks.

I'm still unable to get text and call notifications on my charge 2 even after checking the toggle switch and insuring notifications are set on.

to Samsung 8. Notifications work but when I get a phone call it just shows Unknown.. texts notifications come through fine how do I change the phone calls so I know who is calling without having to find my phone??

I am using Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, I have fitbit Charge 2.

Blutooth is enabled all the time, Notifications is enabled in Fitbit charge 2, In phone settings I have allowed notification for Fitbit as well.

But in Fitbit app, Notification screen is empty 😞

Any help to enable SMS notificatios, Call notifications.

I have looked everywhere for this simple answer!  Thank you so much.  Was convinced I had a faulty Fitbit

Any other ideas? Mine is not muted but when I switched phones to the note8 last week all notifications stopped. Thanks!

@ksengodan Our team is aware of this situation and it is being worked on. Whenever we receive any news on the matter we'll be sure to let everyone know.

 

@Lynsbaby, Do you still have your S7 with you? If so, please try to access the Bluetooth settings on it and remove your Fitbit from the paired devices list. Then, try to setup notifications on the Note 8.

 

It is important to note that the Note 8 is not currently a supported device and thus we cannot fully guarantee that the notifications will work as intended. So while the above process could work, it is possible that it won't too.

Im getting the same issue exept on Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime

 And no notifications at all

I deleted everything from my fitbit set up. Then I shut off the phone. I turned the phone back on and reinstalled the app. Every time my phone updates the app I restart my phone. Haven't  had a problem since.

I have my notifications on my tracker on, but still do not get messages. I have a Samsung 6s.

I get notifications when someone calls but i do not get any when i get messages on my android

@ReluctantGrouse Thanks for sharing what you do to have it working all of the time.

 

@AUFIT122 The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is not currently a compatible device and thus we cannot guarantee that the notifications will work. Some users have found that following the notifications troubleshooting works, but it also might not. You can give it a try and see if it does the trick for you.

 

@Greeneld and @Kristinleigh,  please follow the steps in the link I mentioned above. They should definitely help out.

Good Morning

 

I have the Galaxy 6S and since the last update can no longer get messages to my Fitbit Charger 2 if my phone is on silent. 

Is this something they are looking at undoing? This isn't a fix to me at all, but broken 😞 .. I like to keep my phone on silent in my purse and use my fitbit to notify me of any messages.
