My charge 2 seems to be having an issue pairing with my new Galaxy s8. Is it just not one of the compatible devices yet or what? Because it's really frustrating to have to sync to my old phone because it won't pair to this one. Anyone have any advice?

I'm confused, set the apps as default for what? I'm getting really freaking frustrated I can't get these notifications to work. fitbit customer service was no help they've been saying the same thing since April that they're working on a fix and this is getting ridiculous. notifications work on my note 8 but for the life of me won't work on s8+

I am having the same problem! With notifications and gps not working on my device. I have contacted them and they sent me a new fitbit to replace the other since they thought it was the device and I got th3 new blaze today and connected it and it still won't work on my galaxy S8+. If I use the device to tract a walk, it says gps won't work with my phone even though it's enabled through permissions, the device and settings. Also I don't get notifications although its also enabled through permissions the device and settings. I'm frustrated also and might just return this one for a charge 2 since that never gave me a headache like the blaze does.

I think I may have found the solution. My s8 didn't automatically connect but I connected it to the blaze classic which is for music and left it connected all day. The following day my blaze was paired and receiving notifications. Try manually pairing the blaze classic and wait 24hours. Let me know how it goes if you haven't already solved the problem.

has anyone had any luck? i have a galaxy s8 and just bought my fitibit blaze yesterday.. i can not get any connections to work

Hey everyone -- I'm aware some users have questions about compatibility with the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+. While our devices list does have the Samsung listed, there are some known issues such as not receiving notifications and a lower than expected battery life.
