Thank you!
I was just looking into purchasing a new Fitbit, but I have the LG V30, which is not listed. Therefore, I think I might have to take my business elsewhere Your comment was a big help!

No problem, I have had nothing but problems with my fitbit and will never purchase another one. Not being able to use it on my phone was just one of many.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

LG Fiesta2 needs to be added to the compatible list. I know several with this phone (Total Wireless carrier) and we have been having sync issues between our trackers and the app.

Great! I'm on the list! Running android 5 on a Note 3... so it should work!
Any idea why the fit bit won't update then? As far as I have got is to install the app as the device won't update!

So.... How do we get Fitbit to test new phones? All the motorola phones listed are older. My phone isn't even that new. I'm sure keeping up with technology is a pain but they keep producing new stuff so there had to be a way to test the phones.

Hi
Fitbit is a joke. You pay so much money for these devices and it is not compatible with most phones.
I have a Samsung J5 prime i could receive Whatsapp messages for 8 months then it stopped. I then bought the iphone se after i checked the compatibility list, and that phone also do not receive Whatsapp messages only Text messages. Most people send Whatsapp messages now.
Fitbit are forcing their customers to purchase other brands.
The response from them are "Our technicians are working on the software"

This list is helpful. I got the IONIC prior to purchasing a new phone. I need a list to start from to do research. ... BTW any suggestions for a highly compatible phone (no issues w/ notifications/bluetooth) under $300?
Thanks folks.

Thanks for this list and thread, Dragonfruit. The list is helpful as I'm thinking about getting a new phone soon and checking a list for things to consider is (in theory) easier than searching one after another.
Except, as you've shown, in practice most of the phones still on the market aren't supported.
I'm frustrated by the lack of Android phones being added and thinking my next tracker might be something different. Or maybe I'll just use apps on my phone.

The updated list is dated 10 July 2017. That is almost a year later.
When are they updating the software for the new phones ie. Samsung J5
prime and iphone se. Which is not that new but Fitbit dont support
these phones.

How often do you test devices for compatibility? The list has last been updated almost a year ago.

They probably try to keep up they’re just lost. It’s a joke that almost none of those mobiles from the list are on the market any more. Fitbit should come clear and inform the customers about this list and the compatibility problems at sales points. But again they’re rightfully afraid of loosing sales figures.
Looks like they try to clear the mess for mobile devices from the US market that’s why the Chinese new wave mobiles are neglected (and legacy ipads supported).
It’s a pity. Fitbit device is good quality but software is crap. Remember Jawbone? There software was quality and device was crap.
