My app (Versa) keeps deleting my activity. For instance, before I went to sleep (on a Friday), the app read that I had 6 of 5 days Activity goal met, and the week had check marks Sun-Friday. Sat morning, it reads that I have 3 of 5 days activity, and the check-marks are only for Sun-Tuesday. Why is it deleting Wed, Thur, Fri? It keeps removing randomly. I'm sorry, but I like looking at my activity and knowing what I did. I know I can go add it back in, but why should I have to? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the fitbit? I've added activity once before and it increased my steps for that day, making my steps inaccurate.
Also, the app will randomly delete data I've entered for female tracking. I was just reviewing previous months and randomly 3 periods disappeared. Why is my data getting deleted?
The female tracking has always been deleting. But my activity has been getting deleted since September 2019. The activity disappearing is what upsets me the most and assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Ckrop, I really appreciate the feedback about the Fitbit app.
Thanks so much for jumping in here to report your Female health data has disappeared from your Dashboard. Our team is aware of the issue and will investigate the cause. At this moment there is no option to revert this, sorry for any inconvenience, as mentioned before our team is doing their best to find a solution to this.
About your activity information, is this happening every week? Are you able to see all your complete activities on the Fitbit app?
When I have more information or updates, I'll announce them here. Thanks for your cooperation!

Hi @Ckrop thank you for getting back me! The information you've shared with us is really interesting. I haven't seen this issue with my exercises.
I'd suggest to log out from the Fitbit app. Check if the Fitbit app and Fitbit Versa are updated. What model of phone are you using to connect with Fitbit? Have you noticed what type of activities are missing from your Fitbit app?
Please attach a screenshot of what you can see from your end on the Fitbit app. This details will help us to determine what is the next step.
By the way, I’ve moved your post to the Android App board to have a better chance to get the correct response for your inquiry.
I'll be waiting for your reply.

It's now happening with my Inspire 2 in the app. I re-added the workout and now it's saying that I didn't burn as many calories, making my day red, calorically. This sucks.

This is happening to me. My workouts are getting deleted. Did you ever figured it out?

This is happening to me as well. Random workouts and runs just aren't showing up in the app. This started this week for me, around April 27th. As far as I know there wasn't a recent update so I don't know what is going on. Disappointing because I keep careful track of my workouts and I rely on the Fitbit app. If I can't rely on it to not delete my workouts I will need to switch to Garmin or something else.

Has there been any progress on this? I'm going to have to manually log my workouts in another app if FitBit keeps deleting them.

I thought I was imagining things but no, exercise sessions are definitely disappearing from my tracking history. For example, only two sessions showing for the other week, however, the app still indicates 5 of 5 days. Very annoying. Any updates?

This has been happening to me for 18 months. I've logged it with Fitbit but they don't seem to care. They've done nothing to help. I walk a lot but I've only got one day's exercise in 2021. I did 6 days last week and took a screen shot on Friday with 5 days. All gone now like my custom as soon as I can get an alternative tracker.

There are dozens of threads on this topic and Fitbit hasn't fixed it. After trying for months and months to get some help, I ended up purchasing another brand of tracker. Which surprisingly has zero sync problems (I used fitbits for 5+ years and syncing was always an issue). All of my fitbit frustrations are behind me. It appears fitbit is no longer interested in fixing problems or continuing development on its products. Which makes me sad, I used to be a huge fitbit advocate.

That will be me soon. Seems a remarkable corporate strategy to annoy your customers so much that they want to take their custom elsewhere.

Would you mind sharing which tracker you moved on to? I just noticed I'm having the same issue (random spans of exercise history being deleted) and on top of sync issues, I'm ready to start looking at other teachers.

My issue didn't resolve even with a new Samsung Note S20. I started writing my running minutes on a calendar that I keep by my treadmill. I also switched to the same brand tracker as my phone. I honestly switched because I like the rose gold, round faced Samsung, which looks dressy like a real watch.
Fitbit wins with tracking health trends, and especially battery life. I miss having my health data so well tracked (minus the aforementioned issue). Fitbit app organization & layout is superior! However I'm not obsessing about my data as much, & I can't decide if that's a good thing or not. I also get less steps per day now that I'm not competing with my friends every week. Also, both Apple & Samsung watches require that you turn on a water seal b4 water exposure, which is a bit annoying, time consuming, and risky (if one forgets). So, if you swim a lot or wear it in the shower, stick with fitbit. I cannot add a workout in retrospect with Samsung like I could with fitbit (another win for fitbit).
If you really like tracking all things health, stick with fitbit and write down on a calendar too. Also if you hate charging your watch, stick with Fitbit. If you need phone versatility from your watch and don't mind charging it everyday, get the same brand as your phone. Good luck!

I'd share but my posts get deleted when I mention the tracker I moved to. It's easier for Fitbit to delete posts than fix product problems.
