My app (Versa) keeps deleting my activity. For instance, before I went to sleep (on a Friday), the app read that I had 6 of 5 days Activity goal met, and the week had check marks Sun-Friday. Sat morning, it reads that I have 3 of 5 days activity, and the check-marks are only for Sun-Tuesday. Why is it deleting Wed, Thur, Fri? It keeps removing randomly. I'm sorry, but I like looking at my activity and knowing what I did. I know I can go add it back in, but why should I have to? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the fitbit? I've added activity once before and it increased my steps for that day, making my steps inaccurate.
Also, the app will randomly delete data I've entered for female tracking. I was just reviewing previous months and randomly 3 periods disappeared. Why is my data getting deleted?
The female tracking has always been deleting. But my activity has been getting deleted since September 2019. The activity disappearing is what upsets me the most and assistance will be greatly appreciated.

@YojanaFitbit This has been an issue for years. When is a solution expected? I've seen this on several forums and the moderators just keep disappearing with no answers. About to switch products.

Unfortunately FitBit has shown that they are not interested in fixing any current issues. So your choice is to just deal with it or switch to a different brand of tracker. I went with a different brand and couldn't be happier with it, I have zero issues. It still makes me sad that FitBit has gone downhill like this, I used to be a huge advocate, owned a half dozen trackers myself and purchased dozens for friends and family. My advice now is to purchase a tracker from a trusted brand and which syncs with Strava. Fortunately there are a handful of brands that sync perfectly with Strava so you aren't locked into a specific brand anymore.

Started exercising to get healthier and discovered this same issue occuring with my Fitbit Versa. I absolutely love my Fitbit and I'm extremely disappointed to see that this issue has been occurring since 2020. I used it heavily in 2018-2019 when I was running and it was fantastic at recording everything and showing my data. However, after injuring my knee and needing 3 surgeries on it ... I'm FINALLY getting back into it. But due to my Fitbit deleting my workouts, I'm writing down all my exercises & info on a piece of paper after my workout to record it on a hard copy. It's very disappointing that Fitbit hasn't fixed this bug yet.

The issue goes back *five years*: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Tracked-Exercises-Disappearing-from-the-app/td-p/1874539
Fitbit clearly have no intention of fixing it. This is easily the worst experience I've had with any fitness tracker. It's a total joke. If everyone who has this problem writes to https://contact.fitbit.com maybe something will happen. But I doubt it. They must have received hundreds of these complaints.

PS. I installed the app on my iPad (I have previously used it only on my Android phone) and the data displays. It is also recorded when you export your data to csv. Other fitness trackers allow you to import your Fitbit data, so switching away from Fitbit doesn't mean losing all your records. In fact, it will mean being able to see your records easily.

To work around the issue:
1. Click the exercise tile in the app.
2. Swipe the tile left to see the problem: your exercises are all missing on the calendar of checkmarks.
3. Swipe the exercise list up, up, and up, to see that all your history is, in fact, still there. If the scrolling gets stuck, swipe down briefly, then back up again. Be sure to swipe through at least a month's exercise history.
4. Now head back to the top, where the calendar of checkmarks is.
5. TADA! Your checkmarks are all restored.
This is such a simple problem for an app developer to fix it is mind-boggling. I can only assume there must be a strong reason for not fixing it, but it is hard to imagine what.

Nah, even that doesn't work. There are still missing exercises. I've moved on from fitbit.
