Estimated Oxygen Variation graph is broken

Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today.  Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

I noticed the same issue today. I have a Charge 4 and I too never have high variations. Historical data has also been changed. Interestingly, the data did not go crazy on my iPad, only my android phone. I contacted Fitbit today and they are working to resolve the issue.

Since the new format on my Versa 3 started 2 days ago, my oxygen variation readings are crazy.  In the past I seldom have had a high reading on the Graf.  The last 2 days I've had quite a few. These readings are concerning me, but at the same time I'm wondering how accurate they are due to when the these crazy readings started.

This is a really bad glitch. Why isn't this fixed immediately??? People are freakin out with their results and thinking they have sleep apnea, heart issues, etc.  Please give us another update. Thank you.

It's not just this one. The new dashboards in general are absolutely horrific on the eyes and brain. 

 

They were great until somebody had an idea.

Yes, I just logged on to Fitbit on my iPad, and it looks as it previously did. But is that because it has not updated? I hope it doesn’t. Not going to bother asking support because they are useless

I am having the same problem with my Charge 5.  I was having the occasional yelliw, which I figured was due to my sleeping position, but these graphs are wild.

Hi! 

I noticed today that my app updated. The big change from what I've noticed would be the change of color for the background. However, when I looked at my sleep data, I noticed that my oxygen variations were pretty high. Every time I looked before, the variations were always low. Now, even when I go back in time, there's always high variations showing. I'm wondering why the change and how do I know which data is good. The one I had before, with low variations? Or the one I have now, that has high variations? Is the data different because of the update?

While the iOS version of the Fitbit app is not affected by the change in the EVO graphs, it does share a problem with the Android version.

Both are now reporting a very low "Readiness" score. This turns out to be because the app thinks I didn't get enough sleep:

The app shows I've been getting around 10 hours of sleep a night but insists I'm not sleeping enough.

Both versions of the app were at version 3.64

Alot of people are having the same issue including myself. I finally got through on "Chat" and they told me they are aware of this issue and are working on it.  They might be putting a new update to resolve it.

Fitbit, you need to provide us with results that are presented in a way that clearly indicates whether or not there is an issue that might require medical attention. Also, please present them in a way that allows us to monitor trends that might indicate improvements or declines. This new EOV graph absolutely does not do this. One poster was told they'd have to get used to the new graph because that's how it is now. That's absolutely appalling!

I have the worst sleep tracking with C5.

But, if I wear it on the inside of my wrist I can generally get a score and no breaks in heart rate tracking. 

 

Wearing on the top of my wrist (like a watch) gives me generic sleep data, not the good stuff, and there are always false heart rate spikes or no heart rate at all.

Hello. I'm having the same issue. I figured either it was a bug, or I'm having some serious breathing issues. In the software business when something like this happens we say, rather sarcastically, that "it's not a bug, it's a new feature". It's kind of an inside joke. FitBit should have back out procedures in place to back out this update and restore to the previous working version. I hope this gets resolved soon.

It's only a simple solution if you have an Apple device. Many of us do not have that luxury.

If that's the case, then I will genuinely stop using it and buy a tracker from another provider. The EOV is obviously mad but I also don't like many of the new charts, heart rate is harder to use and also doesn't appear accurate either. I'll look at reviews of alternative trackers now...

I only just bought my new Sense, upgraded from Versa 3. So I can't afford the luxury of reviewing other trackers. Unless Fitbit want to give me a refund?

Having read all the issues and the fact that fitbit doesn't seem particularly interested.  Is anyone else thinking of changing their smartwatch?.  I'm going to upgrade my phone soon and am seriously thinking of getting a Samsung one. At least it will work with android. 

I've had about 4 fitbits now and put up with frequent restarts and reloading the app. But this is getting too much when you can't use the data it is supposed to provide. 

Fitbit you have 2 months before this goes in the bin which is a shame as I prefer the Fitbit watch (versa)
