Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today.  Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

Can you tell me which product you purchased instead of the fitbit?  I have a versa 2

Update mistakes happen and the update is appreciated; however, the condescending attitude conveyed by support is not acceptable.

Good Morning,

My experience with Fitbit has been pretty consistent in many aspects of its functions.

Steps accuracy is pretty solid just walking on reasonably level ground. Stairs are all over the map. Some days readings are not at all close. Other days, it can be somewhat close. Hand and arm motion can add steps. Just lift your arm wearing the tracker (take a look at your steps number first) and shake your fist back and forth vigorously. I worked in a retail food store and found that flipping open plastic bags drove my "steps" totals off the rails.

Regarding the SpO2 graphs and readings. I have not ever been able to correlate those values to my sleep data as shown by my CPAP and a "medically recognized" SpO2 device which I wear all night, every night. I use the Fitbit SpO2 as a loose guide to what happened overnight but I put little faith in the displayed results.

The change in the SpO2 graphs in the July update debacle was really alarming initially. I did suspect a possible programming miscue in short order when I saw all my previous records also displaying the same characteristics. It wasn't just the readings of that one night (after the update glitch) but all the SpO2 records displayed in the device and app.

I had a couple of my entries in this exchange chain removed for passing on data related to a link to roll back the Fitbit app version. I wasn't thinking about "violating" any community standards but rather passed on my successful experience (and suggestion to use that link) for the benefit of other affected Fitbit users.

In my opinion, Fitbit is playing hardball. I would have thought they would appreciate their followers coming up with a reasonable fix for their own programming miscue. I was a bit taken aback by the removal of my and others posts in this matter. But I have concluded that "it is what it is".

I will wear my Charge 3 until it breaks then will be looking for an alternative.

Take care and be safe.

Joining the other tons of people that have been freaking out.  I just had a sleep study done and it was deemed normal.  I was also panicking when I saw this that it was incorrect.  Happy to see it's being worked on and i don't need to worry that my test was completely wrong.

Where has it got listed   as solved? I have only seen a posting  as "answered" & that is actually a holding reply.

Oh, I'm so sorry
All of us that rely on that app are so stressed . At this point, not sure
what's going on. Fitbit keeps saying to wait on next update, my charts
still look all over the place, not cool

Same here ‐ Fitbit is losing my fidelity and my Charge 4 will likely not get replaced w/a Fitbit of any ilk. SORRY they removed the link to Aptoide (from which a search for "Fitbit" leads to finding Jul 12 '22 version of the last good rollback which Fitbit is wrongly not providing themselves pending their Fitbit bug-fix update).  After researching safety of Aptoide alternate free android app store, I removed the buggy Fitbit app, then safely and effectively rolled back my Fitbit software by installing the Jul 12 22  pre-buggy version which has restored readings to previous acceptable functionality.

Not cool at all, and we are told there is no way to roll it back but in fact there is when someone that doesn't even work for Fitbit has done it and told other people how.

Apologies if this is a stupid question but if we install the pre July 22 version instead will we lose all the data from then on?

I'm not great with this sort of thing and it worries me to mess with it

This same thing happened to me at the same time they updated the "look" of the app, but when I went back to check my past gently undulating green lines, they were wildly jagged and into the yellow a lot too.

I am leaning the same way. Must be close to 200 entries in this chain
currently.
Fitbit seems pretty laid back in their response to the issue.
I will keep an eye on it but have to disconnect from this chain.
Everyone take care and be safe.

Fitbit is wrong to not offer rollback to "fix" their buggy updates!

Yes...It seems Fitbit is not taking this "issue" seriously despite the SP02 graph being SO wrong...and you are not alone as using it as an important guide to your sleep. Fitbit have not even told their frontline staff that there is a problem. I do not feel confident they are going to do anything about it
Not good.

Your data will be kept. Just don't delete your account. I successfully did a rollback based on the info provided in the feed and all days is there and correct. Good luck!
