  1. On your phone, open the Settings app.

After the exercise app crashed, I can't enter any data (water, calories or track details of exercise) on the iPhone add. Tried the fix as posted by FitBit (3 times, plus full off on phone) and nothing worked. This is very FRUSTRATING.

Thanks.😁 This worked for me on a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge.

Once I logged back in with my details all my previous information was restored and the exercise is no longer crashing!

Followed all the steps...ater First time it stopped crashing but some informations were not loading. Today I done the advised actions again, now the missing details are sowing, but today exercise is not loading properly, which was fine before I did the second time clear data.

This is my first fitbit watch, is it always been like this?

Any update on when this will be fixed?

(already did the clear data thing, did not work. Also the nike run club and nike training club apps have exactly the same problem. 'activities', the nike equivalent of 'exercises' makes the app crash.)

I have the same issue with fit-bit crashing every time I go to "Exercise". I found the article that suggested "Clear Data", but presumably this will delete 2 years of my history, which I don't want to do!

I don't want to lose all my previous data, is there some other way to do this????

Is anyone else having a problem with the exercise app on the Charge2 for an iPhone?

I don't know about the I-Phone or Charge 2, but there are a bunch of us
with problems on Android, with Charge 3. I just had a problem with one
Challenge, and so far that's it. But I think others may be having more
problems.

Did this. Tried rebooting phone, see others deleted and reinstalled app with no success. Very frustrating not to be able to access my workouts. Please fix this ASAP

I have an android phone - perhaps it doesn't work on iPhones.  Have you tried contacting Fitbit - you can 'phone them or send them a message.  I used their message form once and they replied pretty quickly.  If you Google Contact Support - Fitbit Help (go past the first entry which gives you a phone number - the next one gives an online contact form to complete - if it still works. Good luck - know it's frustrating when nothing seems to work.

I've posted this multiple times now but clearing your app data does NOT clear your history. Data is stored online and you can confirm this by logging onto www.fitbit.com

Anyone with iphone issues, this is a thread about a specific Android issue and you should go to the iPhone forum.

Hi, I have this issue.

I have two options on my phone in the settings, Clear Cache and Clear Storage, Which one should i go for?

When I click Clear Storage it says "All this app's data will be deleted permanently. This includes all files settings, accounts databases, etc"

When I click Clear Cache it just clears the cache. This didn't really solve the problem.

Should i be worried about permanently deleting everything?

I don't want all of my progress for the past three years to disappear in one click.

Everyone with an iPhone.

You are in the platform for Android phones. For a solution of your problem go to the iOS platform.

I'm the same. I have had my fitbit for 4 years. I don't want to delete all
my progress. I hope the fitbit team come up with an update to fix this
problem soon

The fix doesn't work for  iPhones - only android phones.  Try searching for iPhone fixes. Failing that I would Google : Contact Support - Fitbit Help.  There's a form to complete with your issue.  I've used it once previously and someone from Fitbit got back to me pretty quickly. Good luck.

Hi, I've an android phone, 3 yrs worth of data went when I "cleared data"
yesterday per Fitbit moderator instructions. It's not online at fitbit.com
either, it's gone.
It may not clear everyone's, some have done it and been fine, some have
not.
On the upside I can log normally and no crashes now, just no history sadly.
Good luck.

If you have lost data I'd really double check the account you're logging into is correct. There is no way it would have been saving 3 years of data directly on your phone.
