Failing to sync after Android 13 update Samsung Flip/Fold

I updated to Android 13 today.
From then on, no sync possible anymore.
I already:

  • Restarted my phone
  • Shut down the phone completly
  • Force quit Fitbit
  • Deleted and reinstalled Fitbit (should be the newest version)
  • Reset the Charge 5
  • Shut down Google Assistant (apparently that's a problem with the Sense and Android 13)
  • Restarted Bluetooth several times
  • Hard Reset the Charge 5

Now I'm stuck with a watch that can't be connected anymore and is stuck in install mode.

Edit: To clarify. The Charge 5 is being seen via bluetooth, i get's found by the app, but it doesn't complete the connection.

Same here. T-Mobile, Z Flip3 5g, Charge 5, Charge 4, Versa 2, and a Flex. Live in Texas. Had a Samsung update yesterday, which did nothing to solve problem. No Fitbit update yet. I have uninstalled, reset, etc, many times.

I have had the charge 5, Inspire 3 and now the Luxe...all the same issue with NOT syncing with my Flip 5G, and no updates insight....

I've had the Android update since mid-December and haven't had any further problems. I'm just hoping that the app update doesn't make it worse again!

Waiting patiently for either the BVL9 or the Fitbit 3.73 updates...I just updated my fold 4 today and its BVL7! How are you all getting 9? 😭

 

My luxe magically started connecting today(after not connecting since mix december) just in time for me to win a Versa 4 from a work event and now the Luxe syncs but the Versa 4 wont connect!

Unfortunately, I got 7 12/23/2022 ... And 9 1/9/2023... So maybe a little longer yet on your device 😬

I'm assuming that the 9 will be the next update. I git the same as you. I'm on the Tmobile network. Still waiting. I chatted with someone from fitbit online today and he said that the fitbit app update should be completely rolled out by 01/17. Not sure of ue was telling the truth

Playstore does not have new update. Samsung said there isn't an update coming soon. Please advise when is fitbit going to fix this

Galaxy fold 4 update is out for tmobile costumers. Go to settings, software update 

 

Finally fixes issues. More than two months later.

As of 1/10/23 software update for galaxy z fold has fixed the issue on my phone of not being able to sync to charge 5.  It now connects and is working fine .  Had to do firmware update on charge 5 also.

I haven't been able to sync my Luxe with my Samsung flip 4 since December 28, 2022, and now it has the wrong time on it (4 hours difference), so I can't even use it as a watch. I am very frustrated!!!!

So where did you get the direction and resources to do that? Samsung today won't admit there's even a problem. Fitbit says a fix is early 2023. And you have a fix that involves both of them? I call BS.

I updated my phone with the latest, 18 and I am up and working.

No not yet, mine worked OK after samsung update F721BXXU1BVL9 but need to
remove your app and then download it again
