From then on, no sync possible anymore.

Now I'm stuck with a watch that can't be connected anymore and is stuck in install mode.
Edit: To clarify. The Charge 5 is being seen via bluetooth, i get's found by the app, but it doesn't complete the connection.

It's January 14th issue was late November not weeks ago. Stop telling customers to use another device. Using the same automated response is disrespectful. People don't carry 2 1500 devices with them on the daily or carry 2 phones. What am I suppose to go for a jog with a tablet in my hand? Unbelievable. You guys said January 9th was the release it's now 14th going on 15th.
Does Samsung have a premium app for it's exercises? Just checking in. They released an update for Fitbit as they on Jan. 9 let the odd amount corrected while the whole world wait on standby. Crooks.
Best AnswerNo update. My Fitbit Charge 5 will not pair with my Samsung Z Fold 3.
My Charge 5 hasn't been able to sync for about a month now. And now I'm noticing that it's not accurately collecting data. Example, running on and off for 2 hours, but shows only 2 zone minutes but almost 8000 calories burned.
Maybe time to throw this in the trash. It's currently useless.
It was working fine before the latest updates. Firmware issues? Very frustrating considering it was a great tool a month ago.
I need to move on with life! Company disrupted everything for 2 months and beyond senseless if they can't figure it out within that amount of time then it shouldn't exist as a company. My health and probably gained weight is affected because i was dependent on information and my progress on this device. I don't carry an extra $1500 phone and go for a run with my tablet in my hands. My data is lost can't even send my doctor some data. Un f'n believable. I'm learning my lesson well not to depend on this company and my investment to it.
Best AnswerIt was counting my calories burned while it's on the charger. Lol
Best AnswerNext week they will say next week too.
Best AnswerThe recommendation to 'get another phone' (which I was also told) is the craziest thing ever. I would never get a 'new phone' so that an 'app' can be used...replacing the fitness tracker would be a more logical and affordable solution. I can't believe how long it is taking to get a 'known' issue corrected!!
Hi @Steve_t100 it's supposed to calculate your burned calories. It's called your BMR - click to learn more. The Fitbit knows once you sit it up that you're breathing, even if you're not moving.
Best AnswerHi, @dlteed , this was an issue that Fitbit recently recognised and created a fix. You will need to update your Fitbit app. Version 3.73 of the Fitbit app for Android should fix this. Please go to the Playstore to update. (This update has been issued in waves recently, so if you find it is not yet available to you it should be in the next few days.)
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!
Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
Best AnswerI uninstalled the app and reinstalled today (in the US) and I still got v 3.72 and my luxe doesn't sync. I even purchased a new inspire 3 thinking maybe my luxe died and inspire 3 also can't be paired. I tried all the possible solutions mentioned in the thread and nothing works. Please fix!!!!
Best AnswerFitbit is an absolute joke for this abhorrent client service. Unbelievably terrible product management, damage control and communication.
They are ostracizing and abandoning a subsection of clients who purchase top-of-the-line devices. Each notification posted by yet another confused customer who bought a premium device from them only to realize it is useless at its core functionality is like salt in a wound. #BrilliantFail
