Hello,
Something happened with the Fitbit app and I tried to clean the cache, data, reinstall... no luck.
So when I click on a random person profile, friend or not (or even on my profile), I am able to scroll through a few of his posts (5 to be exact), latest ones and at the bottom I have an text with "View All Posts"... if I click on it I CAN'T see all the posts for some reason, it limits me to the same latest 5 posts that I was able to see prior to the moment I pushed the button (text)... so basically all I can see is the last 5 posts and nothing further.
Can you help me with this please? Any thoughts? Did Fitbit changed something and you can only keep the last 5 posts the rest (oldest) will be deleted automatically?
Thank you !

Fitbit Update: 4/14
Hi all,
We've escalated this issue to our team as previously mentioned. Our apologies for the delay in getting this resolved. We're aware this is still an ongoing issue with the most current Android app version 3.18.
Once we have more information or if a fix is released, we'll provide that update here. We really appreciate your patience.

Hi @edit001 using Android 9, Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, App version 3.8 (newest and still rolling out to everyone) what you described is what I see. No matter what, I see only five posts. It makes sense though. How many people have enough mobile data to have a hundred or so messages pop up on their devices? I'll ask a moderator to stop by and let us know if this is expected behavior with the app.

Well, for one thing the choice should be mine not the app's 🙂
Second I usually scroll through when I am home on wi-fi so the traffic is not an issue.
Third, the pictures are small and highly compressed so the app does not suck up a lot of data.
It looks like an bug.
I hope someone can enlighten us 🙂

Hi @Odyssey13 @edit001 , nice to see you back on the Community! Thank you for sharing your information.
@edit001, could you please confirm the model of your mobile device? And the version of its operating system ? Also , I would really appreciate if you could confirm that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app (3.8 for Android and iOS)
You'll find the version of the Fitbit app, when you tip on your profile picture>Help. The title there shows you the current version installed!
I'll be expecting your reply!

Hello @JuanFitbit,
Thank you for looking into my issue !
My Fitbit app version that I currently use is V3.8 (20243440). I tried everything, first I cleared the cache, no luck, then cleared the data no luck, then reinstalled the app, no luck. My phone is an Samsung Note 8 with the latest version of the os Android 9 (1 september security patch, not rooted, pure stock).
The problem it's been for a while but I did not reported the first time hoping for a fix... I remember that I updated the app at least 1 time (if not 2 times really) and since there wasn't a fix after the update I decided to open up this thread. I just want to know if there is some sort of a bug or you guys changed something like you can't keep your oldest posts of something (that would be sad).
Once again, thanks for your help !

@JuanFitbit , @edit001 , @Odyssey13
I can confirm this bug, too. With version 3.8 you can only see the latest 5 posts of a user, even when clicking on the "View All Posts" link.
I have now installed and tried version 2.90 on my Samsung Galaxy S7 (Android 8.0.0) and I do not have this issue. If you click on "View all posts" you can see more than the last 5 posts. Actually I stopped counting at the 25th of a user I tried, so you can obviously see all of that user's posts.
This is a bug with the 3.x versions of the app (at least with the 3.8 that I tested).
I hope it gets fixed !

Hi @LostEchoes , nice to see you around. Thank you for your input and information. I've passed your findings along. Please keep in mind, that is not recommended to use another version of the App as the current one. This could bring other unwanted situations, such as syncing issues, or notifications, not being forwarded.
Please keep me posted.

Hello @JuanFitbit
A few days ago the app suddenly started to work just fine, listing all the posts every person had. That means it's an issue on the server side if you ask me. Unfortunately today it did not list ANY post for any of my friends for several minutes then it's back on listing just 5 posts again.
I came here to let you know that it's working but unfortunately It's not working... again. I am sorry.

Is there a resolution to this yet?

unfortunately no....
I am not happy also because it's been a while and they updated the app at least once but they did NOT fix it... I guess it's not a priority for them but looks like a pretty big bug and easy to see so I don't know what the hold up...

So what I did was download an old Android version (2.95), installed it... and voila.. not a single problem except the fact that it's an old version of the app and you loose some features like sleep score for instance. So I had to install an 6 months old version of the app.... so in 6 months no one noticed that this app was bugged big time? No one except me, really Fitbit? Or everyone is using an Apple phone and I am the only one with Android phone, ha ha.
I am upset that it's a huge bug, easy to see, not something that pops up once in a blue moon.
And since I brought it up the Fitbit app had 2 updates that did not solve it... sad
Unfortunately on iPhone you cannot downgrade the app so if you have the problem there is no solution right now.

Hi @edit001, like a lot of fitbit users you have found the best solution to your problem is using an older version of the app. A lot of people using android having difficulties with synching and receiving text and call notifications have also found this to be the answer to their problems.
I notice that they are usually rolling back to versions pre the 3. whatever.
So much for the wonderful new versions.

Thank you... I am gonna use this old version and get by my day... I am sorry Fitbit that takes you so much time to fix a very visible bug.

I am currently still having this same problem. Running a Note 9, running Android Version 9, with Fitbit version 3.12.1. Can only see last 5 posts of a Community User's posts, even after selecting "View All Posts"

Currently running Fitbit Version 3.13 app on my Samsung Galaxy S10+, Andriod version 10.
I can only view 5 posts MAX on my page even after selecting “View All Posts”. This is the same withon ANY community user's post, can only view 5 post MAX. WHY?!?!!!!
My friends running the Fitbit app on an Apple platform can view ALL their posts. Why has this not been fixed for Andriod users as well?!?!!!

I am curious as well Jenn, it;s been ages since I've reported the issue... and they did at least 3 apps updates... very annoying the indifference Fitbit displays with each passing month.
