In the same space as the cardio target for the day, there is now a box that says:
Fitbit Labs
Ready to upload your first lab report?
Get a simple summary of your lab report. If you're not not ready, please share why in the survey.
Get started
If I tap on "Get started", I am taken to a screen where I can scroll down and choose "No thanks" or "Agree & Continue". If I choose "No thanks", I never get a survey, it just closes, and the notification box never ever goes away.
It has been like this for a couple of days now. I don't want to participate in Fitbit Labs. I have turned off Fitbit Labs in my setting. Why is this box not going away??? I am tired of scrolling past it.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G running Android 13, One UI version 5.1.
As a reminder, I have turned off the Fitbit Labs in my settings, but that did not make a difference.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Android. Please fix this. This also happened last year with the Sleep and took forever for Fitbit/Google to fix. And, when this stunt is pulled again, put it at the very bottom so it doesn't block what we use. Thank you.

@avbmarketing , Thank you for your comment.
@BekW , Thank you for your reply. Depending on your settings, the app might update itself automatically, or if needed you can check on the PlayStore if the update is already available to you. Here the link for it:

If you don't see an update yet, try in a few hours or keep an eye open in the next few days.

@JuanFitbit I still have the "Fitbit Labs Ready to upload your first lab report?" notification. Android 15, Google Pixel 7 phone, Charge 6 device. Yesterday, I confirmed that I have Fitbit app version 4.44. I cleared the app's cache and turned off Fitbit Labs in Fitbit settings and the settings show turned off. The new app version did not fix this problem for me.

@JuanFitbit I checked my Fitbit app, it is now running v4.44.1 (11309120), and the Fitbit Labs is still on my home screen. For a brief moment just after opening the app, it was not there, only to have it appear.
I double-checked Google Play, and it states that this update was released on May 29, 2025. Maybe the next release/update will fix the issue.
So, the software update has not fixed it in my case.

This is so Google. The app isn't there to help us, it's there specifically to give the company what it wants. This is perfect example of engineers making the only decision, and not getting usability people involved.

@FitCharlotte , Thank you for your feedback and confirmation that the issue still persists.
I'll let our team know, so that they keep looking into this.
@JFlo47 , Thank you for your message,.
In the Fitbit app tap on the gear icon > help and scroll down. There you'll see the app version you have installed.
Go a step back (gear icon> push notifications ) . Scroll down. There you'll find the Labs Tab.
