In the same space as the cardio target for the day, there is now a box that says:
Fitbit Labs
Ready to upload your first lab report?
Get a simple summary of your lab report. If you're not not ready, please share why in the survey.
Get started
If I tap on "Get started", I am taken to a screen where I can scroll down and choose "No thanks" or "Agree & Continue". If I choose "No thanks", I never get a survey, it just closes, and the notification box never ever goes away.
It has been like this for a couple of days now. I don't want to participate in Fitbit Labs. I have turned off Fitbit Labs in my setting. Why is this box not going away??? I am tired of scrolling past it.

I have the same problem--just saw the pop-up for the first time this morning and I am unable to delete it. If we aren't given the option to delete this, it will be the end of the line for me with Fitbit--I'm tired of having these pop-ups forced on us with no way to remove them. Ever since Google took over Fitbit, the user's options have been continually eroded.
I have the new version but the Labs pop-up is still there
Best AnswerChatted with support and got the canned response of "we're aware of the problem and are working on a resolution". Canned responses of "we're aware and are working on a resolution" are not believable. There are multiple posts about this issue going on for months all over. If it is taking months to fix the fact that a message won't go away after answering then maybe Google needs to hire new developers. Instead, my impression is that they are NOT working on it and would rather force people to participate just to get the message to go away.
I don't need your instructions! I am quite capable of submitting feedback to the team, MR. know it all! And, posting on this forum is helpful to others! You do not control this forum so buzz off!

Mine doesn't even have the take survey button. I'm still stuck with the box.
Best AnswerToday I noticed I also have a box for "Experiencing Symptoms" to the right of the box for "Ready to upload your first lab report?" I've found no "off" or "close" or "X" option, not any other way to make either of these unwanted/notification boxes disappear. This junk fills up a large part of my phone screen! We users should be able to opt out of this.
Best Answer@JuanFitbit I hope that your team can figure this out because I now have another "Fitbit Labs" window next to the first one asking for my lab reports. This new one is asking if I am "experiencing symptoms". Please make this stop. I have opted out, and turned off everything associated with Fitbit Labs, and it will not go away, and I get even more unwanted solicitation of my info.
I am still real surprised that Fitbit has any authority on giving medical advice. Seems like dangerous waters...
Best AnswerJust installed Fitbit app version 4.44.2 (Android) and it fixed nothing. In fact, I now have two panels that I cannot get rid of. The new "Survey button" on the Fitbit Labs "Ready to upload you first panel" does not appear to enable any way to get rid of the panel (that I can see). The second Fitbit Labs "Experiencing symptoms?" panel just has a "Get started" button. I hesitate to hit that button based on past bad experiences with this whole app situation.
Come on Google...HELP! How hard can it be to get an opt out button or settings? SIGH
@BekW I noticed the "take survey" option yesterday too. I wanted to explain in the survey that I do not want Fitbit Labs, but it read more like a boilerplate that if you consent, we have the right to do anything with your data.
@CameraSue "Take Survey" takes you to the exact same screen as the "Get Started" button. Basically they want to convince you through harassment to use it. To them, it isn't a bug. It's a feature.
