In the same space as the cardio target for the day, there is now a box that says:
Fitbit Labs
Ready to upload your first lab report?
Get a simple summary of your lab report. If you're not not ready, please share why in the survey.
Get started
If I tap on "Get started", I am taken to a screen where I can scroll down and choose "No thanks" or "Agree & Continue". If I choose "No thanks", I never get a survey, it just closes, and the notification box never ever goes away.
It has been like this for a couple of days now. I don't want to participate in Fitbit Labs. I have turned off Fitbit Labs in my setting. Why is this box not going away??? I am tired of scrolling past it.

4.46 is not available on Google Play for Android (I have a Samsung Galaxy Stwenty Fiveg Ultra - make fun of me if you will, it still works like it was new and I love it). I uninstalled the app and re-installed the 4.45 like I did over a week ago a few minutes ago, re-paired my Charge 4. I am sitting here in shock. the banners are gone.

Well here's a screen capture from one of our A_32_5G phones.
Maybe it's just not available for your version phone or country? Doesn't really matter, it did not fix the issue anyway. Hope they come out with fix soon. It is not a show stopper for us, just an annoyance. How hard is it to scroll down to the rest of the info we want to see anyway 😋

Well, that was short and unsweet. After uninstall, re-install and re-pairing, the banners were gone. An hour later, they are back. Come on, Fitbit - fix this, already!

I bought it new off of ebay, lol! Yes, that's really all I did. And the hour or so of no banners was just a tease as they came back. And I shall never forgive Fitbit for selling out.

I hate this so much! I get the feeling that they are so desperate to get people to sign up for the hideously expensive AI junk that I assume powers Fitbit Labs that they have to promote it this way. NO ONE WANTS IT.

Just received Version 4.46 on another Samsung phone we have. Same results that I reported in post from 6_24_2025. Still have the "FitBit Labs Experiencing symptoms?" panel with no way to turn it off. Did a forced stop, cleared cache. and even rebooted phone. Fingers crossed…but no joy. Guess we’ll just wait for the new version that will fix the issue mentioned in a 6_25_2025 post. Holding my breath even if it takes so long I turn blue…haha

I agree with the latest posters, the 4.46 update gave me the ability to close the first fitbit labs window, but the "experiencing symptoms" window is there with no option to close.
Google - Please honor my wishes to not have anything to do with Fitbit Labs, and let me get rid of the last window!! And, do not subject me to any other fitbit labs offers that you have coming in the future.

Well, here we are, on 7/3/25, with another update (4.46). I installed it late last night, and one of the ads (text blocks, notifications, offers,?) is gone now - but "Experiencing Symptoms?" remains. (I gotta wonder if Google/"Fitbit" *really* thinks lots of folks will share such info!)
When I first open the Fitbit app now on my Samsung Android phone, I can slide the "Experiencing Symptoms?" block - but them in taken to the sign-up page ... when I can say not and try to opt out, but that doesn't actually work. "Experiencing Symptoms?" still sticks around.

Agreed. We, as Fitbit users and customers, should be able to opt out - or
never be bothered with such ads if we've indicated that is our choice.
I can understand ... even applaud ... being notified when new features are
available, but these things like "Experiencing Symptoms?" are more annoying
than the frequent "offers" and info about the benefits to be gained by
joining Fitbit Premium.

Hello all,
Like the rest of you, I was able to close one of the banners but not the one for Experiencing Symptoms.
I've already submitted a report to the team letting them know that ver 4.46 only fixed the issue with the Lab Report banner. When I hear of an update on the 2nd banner, I'll report back.

I got one I could close but there's another "Experiencing symptoms?" banner that will not. And crickets from Google/Fitbit.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ Running Android 15.
This is just nuts that we can't get rid of that awful banner in such valuable real estate, even though we are paying for premium service. And I was just re-charge for Premium today. So angry that I can't control my own experience. I will NEVER give Google that type of info. I say No Thanks every time I open FitBit, hoping this is the time that will make it go away. 6 weeks of trying. Uninstalling, re-installing. Changing settings and still that terrible banner. Ugh.

My Fitbit Labs banner is still very much there after the updates.
