Fitbit Sense 2 - App not registering floors climbed.

Since the App has been updated it's no longer logging floors climbed. The Sense 2 is recording them - I just went for a run & it shows I climbed 80 metres. But the app counts that as zero floors & hasn't logged a single floor since the update.

Hello @Dean_Morrison during a run, your Sense2 uses GPS to figure changes in altitude.

Your floors are calculated by changes in air pressure over a short period of time. If you don't climb 10 feet over a short period, no floors will be counted. (fitbit doesn't tell us what time we have in doing the 10 feet)

Your screen shot is showing a change in altitude of about 90. However your start and end are about the same height.

I rolled back to a previous version of the app, did a soft reset of the watch and it fixed the issue.

Starting and finishing at the same height should be irrelevant if you've climbed floors in-between

Most people do not climb hills fast enough to detect a floor. . What your watch is counting is the changes in air pressure as the wind blows over the arm. Something people have been complaining about for years. Sometimes I would get 2-3 floors when my altitude, over the walk, only changed 6 feet. I'm glad they fixed this mistake.
