Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

Is that why all of us with Samsung can't get the app to sync now even with all of the resyncs, re installs and recharging etc? Because allot of us with Charge 2 no longer can do anything as of this month. Mine stopped on May 22nd, and lots of others in may as well.

I've had the new dashboard for well over a month now And I loved it. Opened my Fitbit app just now and it's back to the old one. Why?

Fitbit Update: 5/29
Hi everyone!
Last week we rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
@LauraVN We've been testing the new dashboard with the more recent Fitbit app releases. If it has reverted to the old dashboard design, don't worry, we will be officially releasing it later on to everyone. I can't provide any specific dates right now but stay tuned!
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once I receive more information on this, I'll update this thread.
Thanks for all your feedback on this new layout!

I really don’t like this new dash board. I did not choose it. I want the old dashboard back, it was much more motivating for me. The new dash board is very uninspiring. I really need to be motivated by the that bright green “goal achieved” arc or statistics in bright green. Silly, I know, but it motivated me to achieve my daily goals😢

Annie Mack, I could not have said it better! I want the old dashboard back or a ton of positive improvements to this new one.
It does look blah. I miss my old daily step count layout.
The sleep gauge is missing important data. I can pretty much guess how long I slept not the quality of that sleep.
What goes in that far left column above the others? It is blank and the "little circle" just spins like it is trying to load something. That space could be used for something good rather than just be wasted. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled to hopefully take care of that box. It didn't work, still spins endlessly.
Please fix it or let us have our old dashboard at least until the beta is really ready to go beta.

So, @AlessFitbit, you say "if you're one of the lucky ones to receive the new dashboard . . ." How does one get "lucky" anyway? From what I read here, no one who's posted sounds like they feel lucky. Then again, those who like something usually don't complain. I would really like a pass at this so I know which side of the road I'm on. I read endless gripes about the new Ionic OS and when I finally received it, it was great. I said so here, but I was one of very few. I would really like to try the new dashboard.

I did not choose to update my Fitbit app. I am very disappointed because it does not show your steps or calorie burn or sleep. Why was it changed? I want my steps back!

Welcome to the club. It keeps growing.
Please bring back the old dashboard or modify the new one based on the comments on this page, and the emails, and the phone calls.

It is a pain & I just discovered this the other day. Up at the top of the screen, tap on log, then tap on activities. It is a much better display than the dashboard. The sleep tab in log does not have the sleep details that we had on the old dashboard.
I want the old dashboard back! This new one is truly inadequate,

MyFitnessPal no longer pulls in my exercise calories. Please fix, the food logging in the fitbit app is awful and I will never use it.

@Ryan76nz the ongoing issue with the link to MyFitnessPal is not related to the new dashboard. You can get the latest updates from Fitbit on the issue in this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/MyFitnessPal-Syncing-Issues-06-03-19/td-p/3...

I still have the old dashboard and it has quit pulling in food and water from My Fitness Pal too. Very frustrating 😡. I used the Fitbit one for a while, but I agree - it's awful.

Okay, good to know. For once, not Fitbit's fault. Too many teams trying to fix too many things at the same time. I will continue logging food in My Fitness Pal as the database is so much better. It just means a little extra math for a while.

@Empee go to the main "Today" dashboard screen and select your profile image at the top left. Then select your device and you'll see the option for setting alarms
