Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

Of course. Then who are the @add name people who "moderate"? Are they just really experienced users? If that's the case, I apologize for expressing my frustrations.

those users who have "fitbit" in their profile name do work for fitbit and are part of the moderating team. As well as carrying out their moderating job they help out where they can but they are not part of the customer support organisation.

For once I must cogratulate fitbit, my app just rolled out the new interface. I was expecting an almighty blunder BUT. Im extremely happy I can immediately see the info I need, I can track exercise and view data easier than before. I needed 1 minute only to adjust and feel comfortable with it. It's not overly aesthetically brilliant but it's good enough and it makes up for it in functionality and usability which is more important. It's not a total overhaul but well done to the fitbit team!
I usually have bad posts here because many problems with fitbit devices but since I reverted back to Alta HR, for a very cheap price I've been relatively content and not sure any other makes or models would be any more accurate.

New interface is Vile imho. Please give your user base the option to choose/revert layout styles like you do on actual devices (ie charge 3).

I only use the "Today" tab and I rate it 9 out of 10 for ease of use and usefulness. I love it!

You're obviously not using an Android phone with 9 (Pie)

I'm using Samsung S9+ with all current up to date software. I love that I no longer have to see the steps an other pointless information unless I scroll. It now clearly lists what's important to me, activities, sleep, water, etc. I can click the "+" and add directly from this screen. Customising took less than a minute. I have no complaints.

Great news! I don't have new dashboard yet, but am eagerly waiting to try it. I was about to give up and start looking for a new tracker. Perhaps I will give it more time now. I really like my Ionic.

I must state, I spoke too soon. Has ha After some days using the new interface, there's 1 serious bug and several niggles...
1. If you use the plus button from main screen to add water, exercise, etc. the main screen doesn't reflect the added item.
2. The detailed sleep screen has a massive sleep score sitting at the top of the screen, pushing down the more important information
3. The new icons on the main screen do not differentiate enough from each other so it takes a little more of a glance to know which one I want
As with all Fitbit models beyond Alta HR, it appears a little smeared...
I eat my words, I think the excitement of seeing them update anything overwhelmed me with superficial joy

As for adding water, let's tap on Discover, Health and Fitness. Then add water. There is no plus sign on the main dash board and edit is for moving the stats around or removing a stat.
As for sleep I'm not sure what is going on for you.
Both the main sleep screen and the detail sleep screen has not changed with the new design for me. The Giant Sleep Score has always been on the top for me.

Rich, you're sounding defensive, my r r marks are relevant. See attached image in new interface displaying the plus symbols, when I click one it allows me to add wzter, exercise, etc. The new interface does not display the updated result so if I add water with the plus symbol the amount displayed on the screen you see is not updated. But if I click to view water details it shows the correct figure.if you can't see how to add water via a plus symbol we must be looking at different new interfaces.
In regards to the sleep score mine appeared at the top of the detailed sleep screen the same time the interface was updated. Regardless when yours displayed its irrelevant to the fact that useless number is taking up huge screen Realestate and pushing down the important part that used to be front and centre. Again see attached screenshot Top circle pointless. Lower circle critical.
Plus symbols on new interface to add water, exercise etc.
