Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

To be honest I don't really dislike the new GUI at all, looks quite nifty. I however, don't like this:
For some reason I constantly see gray area's of Steps taken, floors taken, etc, etc. Not even syncing fixes that.

Nice to read something positive. From what I've seen in articles, etc., I think I will like it too. Maybe nobody except complainers, writes here. If I find the new look helpful, I promise to say so. 😀

The title pretty well sums it all up but for those who like details:
-general appearance is ugly looks like a 90’s
program. Wow who approved..this Mr. Bean ?
-Mucho scrolling up and down to see all stats
(what was wrong with the side by side tiles)
If you’re going to make me scroll so much add a ‘scroll tracker’...at least that way I’ll track my finger exercise 👍🏻
very disappointed ☹️ in you Fitbit
bad Fitbit ! Please refrain yourselves from further changes or change your design team...that would be a good start!
(And please don’t bother with the we are sorry reply we will pass this on to our design team ...no need it’s not as if you’ll change this anytime soon...you like it)
cheers !

@BlueWolf7 Hey, there! I'm not sure where you were informed that we only support via Twitter, but that is definitely not the case. If you would like to open a ticket for support with us, you can see all our support options for email, voice, chat, etc. by following this Contact Us link. If you have any trouble reaching us through your preferred channel, please let me know!
@jlchriswi Hi! Welcome to the Community Forums. To make changes to your new dashboard, you should see an "Edit" option on the upper-right hand corner. To read more about the new app experience, please check out this help article: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
@Kenzibit Hey! Nice to see you're still patiently waiting. You're correct that the Fitbit for Android app version 3.0 has been released but not fully to all Android users yet. When it is out to everyone, I'll update my Community post with this info. We're still in the process of rolling out the new dashboard experience, doesn't matter which app version you're on. This doesn't coincide with the app version rollouts. Anyone who has the app version from 2.92+ may have the new dashboard pushed to them.
We really appreciate everyone's patience throughout this process. Once we have completed this rollout to all users, I will announce it here. Please note: once you're on the new dashboard, there is no way to revert to the old one.
Thanks, everyone!

I just saw the new update on my daughter's new Inspire HR and ... ugh. That's a pretty horrific step backwards. Show me less information (at least at first glance, which is all I want to do 90% of the time) and with less flexibility. The death of the sleep information bar in particular is egregious. Why would you ever remove such a useful control? Same question for the Weight and Steps per Hour though less information is lost.
I'm a professional developer - this isn't rocket science. The more you dumb down your interface the more you remove differentiators between you and competitors. I've been frustrated with, to be brutal, horrible UI choices in Fitbit apps and online services (watch faces, anyone?) for a while now. With everyone else stepping up the game on the hardware side there are far fewer reasons to choose Fitbit. I don't see my family purchasing more in the future and I've been a user for years 😞

@TopCatNow. nothing has changed with the questions you are asking.
Tap the exercise tile
This takes you to the same page that your use to with a list of your past exercises. And in the top corner you will see the familiar + on the stopwatch which then there is the option to track or add a previous exercise.
As for GPS mine seems to be better than ever on the SG8.
@jlchriswi. to edit items, ie: move around, add or remove, press the word "edit" found at the top of the page.
Please remember that you also hated the dashboard with the design you say that you want back.

The exercise tile is set to added as a default setting. But if it is not seen by you. Tap the Discover option down left. And add it from the Health & Wellness Stats page.

I never post but really needed to. I hate the new dashboard. I was a programmer for many years and this looks like an app put together by a bunch of kids in their garage. Give me my tiles back please. Fitbit what were you thinking? If you were going for a Sleek look it didn't work. instead it just looks cheap and amateurish.

Perhaps the reason "nobody but the complainers" write here is that the majority of users really don't like the look of the new desk top. I, for one, would be happy to praise it if it were worth praising. It is not. Looks like something a middle school computer class would come up with. Actually, a middle school class would probably come up with something more visually pleasing and easier to use.

The version from two or three years ago was still the best. More information shown on one screen with no scrolling. And when you viewed a different day, it showed all the stats from that day.

@Sylvain.C On the main "today" tab of the dashboard, select your profile image at the top left of the screen, then select your fitbit. You will then be on the device settings where you'll find the alarms

I really hate the new dashboard. I have been been on it for two weeks and I compare it to going from Windows 10 back to Windows 3.1.
Terrible.
I want the old dashboard!! .
How can I revert? PLEASE🙏

Hello @Cporantes ,
unfortunately this is not possible. There was a suggestion to chose between dashboard but Fitbit closed the door as the decision has been already taken.
