Fitbit app not working properly

Hello, my FitBit app worked really good until two days ago, then yesterday it had trouble syncing, and today it has logged me out and I can't log back in. Every time I try the error message says that I have the wrong user name or password. When I tried to create a new account it said there was a network error.  However, I am logged in on my computer and it works here, but not on the mobile app.

I have already uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, same issue.  What do i need to do?

Thanks

@She7 there has been a bug with the IOS app crashing lately. It was fixed yesterday by upgrading the app to the latest version 3.6.1 Has yours been updated to that version?

This worked! Delete the app, re-download it. Boom done.

I woke up this morning and my fitbit app was not working.  When I pressed app button, it said 'this app is no longer shared with you," and to use it I needed to buy it from the app store.  I tried to buy it (again) from the app store, and it wouldn't let me.  What's going on?  I will not purchase another fitbit if the app will not work!

Ive tried using all of those methods including uninstall and reinstall, but every single time I try to connect a device to my LGK20V using the fitbit app, it keeps saying that there's no internet connection. The app worked seamlessly 4 or 5 months ago, then it stopped syncing. So I uninstalled it for a few months and just tried to get back into it, and it won't let me connect my watch. It was very expensive and I would be very mad if it was just a huge waste of money. I'm already very upset that its not working properly, fitbit should fix their products.

I'm on my second day of trying to get my Versa to work. Ive even contacted support until they said there's a glitch in the system and are working to get it fixed. Not sure if that's true or they just got sick of it.

My versa was syncing but not all day, therefore losing time throughout the day. I've tried everything.

Deleting and reinstalling the app

Rebooting the watch

Rebooting my iPhone

Updating my iOS

Turning on and off Bluetooth

Turning off wifi

Making sure I was not near any other Bluetooth devices

Installing it on a different device

Deleting Data

Setting up new watch

And whatever else. I can't get it to do anything. Now instead of it working some of the time, I'm stuck on a setup screen that I can't get past because nothing can find the fitbit. I know my Bluetooth is working because I can use everything else.

What's happened and how do i fix it?

Hey,

I did all these things also and still nothing happened. I am very sad
because it is a part of my every day to train and eat well. Time stopped
also.

Burned calories are not correct too. Hopefully someone going to fix it.

I had the same problem today.  I cleared the app's cache then restarted my phone.  When I tried to log in again, I had no trouble.

I've had the same problem, uninstalled/re-installed the app & it appears to be working again now

I have tried everything mentioned in this thread. Nothing helps.

Strangely the app is acting this way only in WiFi. When connected to mobile data, it works absolutely fine.

@NidhiB Nice to see you here in the forums again.  I will gladly help you regarding the Fitbit app. Thanks for the explanation. It seems it could be related to the Wi-Fi network. Have you tried a second Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists? I would do that to rule out some factors. What smartphone do you have?  What exactly have you tried so far? Please make sure that your Fitbit app is up to date. I would uninstall it and install it again.

Have a nice day!

I'm still having issues logging in on the PC app, I can't get past the login page. It just shows an error saying "authentication failed"

I have also tried making a new account but I get an error saying "unable to connect to fitbit.com". My wifi signal is excellent, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling over a dozen times. I've never been able to login via my PC, please let me know if this can be fixed because I'm getting quite frustrated.

I'm having similar problems this morning with both my Charge 5 app on an iPhone 11 and my One that is on a Google Android phone.  It keeps giving me error messages and in the case of the One, says it can't sync.  There have also been several reports of similar problems on the community forum.  Is there some problem from the Fitbit side of things?

I went to Fitbit app in settings to clear cache but didn’t find the button. Can you provide details as I’ve not done this and it seems that would solve. I’m not able to see or add elements I’ve always had (sleep, #hours w 250 steps, etc). I removed app shut off phone and reinstalled. I can log in but I don’t have the usual choices and it doesn’tsync properly. It failed 3-4 days ago and I’ve been dm ing but no help although they suggested I update app and that didn’t fix.
