The app asked me to log in, I enter my email and password, it says invalid email or password, I've tried to send a reset e-mail and get the message "Fitbit.com is unavailable. Please try again later" No problem logging on to the web application (pretty sure that app and web have same password). Phone is a galaxy S8 running Android V9

Hi @Jairvine - if blocking is the problem see No internet connection even though the phone is connected, it may help confirm your theory.

I have just purchased inspire 2, downloaded app, set up login, verified email, tried to logon to app and just sitting on ‘let’s get started ‘ no amount of pressing Log In helps! Have tried all the suggestion here! Am using a Galaxy A51 with Android 13!
Great news Davinkb. I had been at the stage of reloading my phone as I had tried it in another phone and it worked on that one. So I knew it had to be a software setting. How did you fix it? Was it the VPN and DNS setting that also got it working for you?

Hi @RoseClash - did you check the best answer and have you tried to swipe off the Fitbit App window, clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
When you login enter the same credentials manually as works in the browser, that may work.

@RoseClash - have you tried after the above turning off Bluetooth, WiFi and location? Just using mobile data. Also try the inverse just using WiFi.

@RoseClash - if your phone is recent enough that you can reinstall the Fitbit App, do the clear cache etc before reinstalling and make sure the permissions are granted.
You need Android 9 at least.

@RoseClash - thanks for the feedback, looks like you tried everything now. Baffling. Will raise it with a moderator.

I had to reinstall the fitbit app. I try to login using the same info to login on desktop. but it says invalid password. I tried to change my password, this time I get a warning saying "google passwords can't be changed here"
I am stuck! I just got sense 2 today and can't even use it because bloody app doesn't login. I haven't even changed any details. I just reinstalled it! I merged it with my google account when it asked before and that was it!
Help please!
Best AnswerI haven't been able to log in the app since Sunday. I tried everything listed here, nothing works. I've also changed the password and, as others reported - I can log in via web. Also, I unpraired my Inspire 3 and now I cannot pair it again 😞 Using Honor70, Android 12. Also, reached out to chat and was told the ticket is created for support... And I am using premium subscription...

Hi everyone, thank you so much for the heads up. I appreciate all your reports as they are very helpful in bringing this situation under control.
As mentioned before by @RodrigoMFitbit, in order to address this issue more effectively, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let us know the specific model of your cellphone and the OS version it is running.
Since it has been a couple of days now, could you please update us on whether you are still experiencing the same issue when attempting to log in? Has anything changed after trying one of the recommendations mentioned earlier?
Please remember to keep the app up to date to minimize these types of problems as much as possible.
