Hello everyone. There was an issue in the last hour that prevent users from logging into the app or sync their devices. This issue was resolved by the team. If you are still having issues please either log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in to help resolve the issue you were having.

I'll be around.

I don't care for the new look either.  Read a response from Fitbit to a post asking the same question.  They said there is no going back once it has upgraded.  Everyone who did not upgrade will automatically get it in a few months

I'm having the exact same problem.

I woke up this AM and was prepared to synch from my sleep, and saw a new dashboard. I updated my app (without reading the app reviews, which I usually do) and got both of the same results: unvailable, then after remove and re-install, Network down.

I was able to get back in. Didn't change anything on my part.

I was just able to login now. Guess Fitbit turned its servers back on 🙂

Apparently, when the app updated (or possibly sometime earlier to day), it unchecked all the boxes under "Manage Activity Items". Not sure why, but I re-checked those boxes and it appears fixed.

I'm still having issues. I've uninstalled the app, cleared my phone cache, shut down my fitbit and my phone, then reinstalled the app.

It still will not let me log in, and will NOT send me a password reset email.

I'm extremely, extremely frustrated.

The total steps per day/week was always a part of my dashboard along with
steps per hr. During the early afternoon when I went to check, everything
on dash was there except steps per day.
I turned my phone off for 5 mins and still everything but the total steps
per day😪

I got locked out of my account on the android app this morning, reset my password, cleared cache and data, force stopped the app, and restarted my phone. I can log in on my desktop, but not on my android app. I still get alarms on my android app, though.

Glad to hear this worked for you. Sometimes this will work the first time I do it. Then it'll stop working again or it doesn't work at all on my GS9.

after updating the app and my device I have had the same issues, I have deleted the app and removed the fit bit no point having it if you can't record the data.
