Google Pixel 3 - not receiving texts

Ever since the Versa update a few weeks ago, I no longer receive text notifications on my Versa. I tried re-pairing it and checked all notifications on the Fitbit app and on my phone - to no avail. I receive phone calls and calendar updates but not texts.

 

Help.

Let me help you with your missing text notification on your Versa and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Let's try refreshing the link between your phone and your watch by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Yes. I did all of those things. I had to do an entire factory reset so
remove the Fitbit update. Without the update, it's working again.
