I have accidently clicked on the stupid message about the new dashboard and now can't get back to the old one.
I do not like the new format so want to stay with the old, I would also like to get rid of the banner with the info about the new dashboard, if I can get it back to the old format

Help please!

So there's no way to go back to the old dashboard now then is it? I really dislike the new layout. Really gutted over this as it's not as clear as the old one.

You can get back an old dashboard but you will need to bypass the official Fitibt route.

Google for Fitbit 2.47 apk. There are some good and reliable sites, I used apkmirror.

Uninstall your current Fitbit app.

IMPORTANT: turn off automatic updates for your apps in Google Store.

Install the newly found version 2.47. Important: turn off automatic updates for this app, either in the settings on your smartphone preferences, or directly in Google Store.

Now you will have an option to revert back to the old linear dashboard and turn on auto-updates for your other apps if needed.

Look at the post immediately above your for instructions on how to load the prior version of the app, and switch back to the old dashboard.

@Ud2bafan, just scroll up a bit. In my post above I've given step by step instructions how to get the old dashboard back.

As of now  (May 9) the Advanced Settings do not appear to have the option to return to the useful dashboard. I did nothing to invoke the new dashboard but it was what came up when I tried to sync. I  guess I am stuck with it now.

Just wanna add my two cents in to make sure the fitbit team hears the feedback... thanks for an all around great product. But yeah, I too LOATHE the new dashboard and am annoyed that I can't go back to the old one. Not happy about this at all.

It would appear that the developers feel they know what is good for us and
the soft round clock-like displays are better for us than the more easily
interpreted bar graphs. I wonder if there is a future in writing an app
that would take the data from the new dashboard and render something that
looked like the previous one? It seems enough folks dislike the new one
that it might just be worthwhile.
