I have accidently clicked on the stupid message about the new dashboard and now can't get back to the old one.
I do not like the new format so want to stay with the old, I would also like to get rid of the banner with the info about the new dashboard, if I can get it back to the old format
Help please!

Not sure which link you're talking about. If you're looking for the old app, google "Fitbit APK 2.47". If you're looking for the suggestion to vote for, to to the suggestions forum here on the community. It shouldn't be hard to find.

Your striving to improve has not worked. Choice is a good thing. I hate the new dashboard. It is not easy to read. Curved dials are not as clear as straight. Tiles are ugly. Just gone off fitbit.

The link they sent me to is in my post, but it's nit showing as a link so you need to copy/paste. There's only 19 thumbs up on it so a lot more people need to go there!

You can no longer have the old dashboard. Fitbit changed it for no apparent reason & are telling me they no longer support the old dashboard. Made the change for no apparent reason!

Unfortunately, it doesn't work anymore. (May 2017)

I had the exact same issue. There appears to be an issue with Android v7 and at least some phones. Couldn't find a fix that worked but I did the next best thing. I reverted to the previous fitbit version 2.47.
1- Uninstall your Fitbit app v 2.48
Important to disable auto updates on your phone,...you don't want it reinstalling the 2.48 version again
2- Get the previous version 2.47 by googling "fitbit apk 2.47"
3- Download the apk file and run it.....you are now back to the previous version and everything should work fine. Go to help...advanced strings and you can go back to old dashboard. Used freeapkshare site.

I tried that numerous times. There is no longer an option to go back to old dashboard. I hate, hate, hate this new dashboard. I am ready to throw my Fitbit out if I can no longer have the old dashboard! Really! Now I find it useless.
What is wrong with Fitbit company?
Why would they force happy Fitbit users to have a dashboard they dislike. The old one was so easy to read; right away I could check my active minutes, steps, sleep results, mileage, etc. Now it is an ornate graph look. That is not me!.
I want the old dashboard back! Please give people the option of staying with the old dashboard. A lot of people prefer the old one.
Thanks!

It does work. Are you sure you have deleted fitbit from your device and disabled the auto update ? If you go to the menu and select Help, what version does it show up top.
Get the apk2.47 from the site freeapkshare that I used

Hello everyone! Thanks for your opinions and feedback in regards to the new Fitbit app dashboard!
As you already know, since the new update on May 1st, 2017 (version 2.48); the Fitbit app dashboard was fully implemented. This means that you can no longer return to the old design. You can check more details on the official post here.
Currently, there is a Feature Suggestion which is asking to bring back the old Android dashboard. The best thing to do is to vote and leave your comments there. This is the best way to do it!
Keep me posted!

Thanks for the link.
Something to keep in mind. For those that plan on installing an old APK, you will now have to selectively update your apps. You can no longer used the "Update All" option. Unless you wish to go through this exercise again.

It's a little disingenuous to point people to feature requests in my opinion.
I'm a beta tester and fed these exact issues back many months ago in the thread where we were asked to. I also created a feature request to regain the lost functionality as directed and had plenty of support even though not everyone had the new dash then.
Are my votes going to be added to this new request? Will anyone actually listen to us?

Not sure what post you're referring to, since you didn't use the quote button.
But if you go to this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/New-Android-Dashboard/td-p/1954805/page/12
you'll find instructions on how to manually download and install the prior version of the app, which still allows you to go back to the old dashboard in Advanced settings.

So, you KNOW that "Accepted Solution" doesn't work any more, right?
Why don't you remove that as an accepted solution, since you KNOW it doesn't apply?
FitBit has been REALLY aggravating. I made a comment about not liking the new interface and it was followed up by HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of people agreeing.
Why doesn't FitBit care about their customers? Very very aggravating. Looking for other devices and interfaces now.
