Hi LG users! Welcome to your own thread!

Thanks a lot for providing feedback on your syncing/setup experience. The best way we can look into these issues with our specialists and developers is by knowing the following information:

  • Device Manufacturer
  • Device Model
  • Android OS Version
  • Fitbit App Version
  • Error Message on the Fitbit App

Remeber, if you're experiencing issues, please try the troubleshoots in the main thread.

Of course, this is completely voluntary. We appreciate the time you've taken to provide us with any/all information provided. :smileyhappy:

UPDATE 7/31/2015: Hi Everyone!

Our Engineering Team is continuing to look into the syncing, setup, and call/text notifications issues some of our users have reported on their Android devices. I would greatly appreciate your help in capturing information about the issue you are experiencing by filling out a short survey. The information captured in this survey will be shared directly with our engineers so they may have a better understanding of what you are experiencing, on specific devices, and specific operating system versions.

I want to thank everyone who will take time to fill out this survey as the data may help to better your experience!

Hi,

I have the LG Ultimate 2.  It will find my One sometimes and sometimes it won't.  Very frustrating.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks!

@TelisaGreat to have you participating in the Community! Happy to have you here!

It looks like the LG Ultimate 2 is not listed on our list of Android supported devices here. Not to fear though, if your device supports Bluetooth LE (AKA Bluetooth 4.0), you may be able to sync using our Fitbit beta app for Android! Give it a try and keep me posted!

I have an LG G4 with Android 5.1.

I have installed the Fitbit app and can sync sucessfully with my Surge.

Notifications, including call, sms and WhatsApp are also working.

My app on the LG G3 LGLS990 V 5.0.1 doesn't work correctly. I installed the app on my Samsung Tab SM-T237P V 5.1.1 and it works fine. The issues are with friends. First there is not a button at the bottom to accept friends. Second only one friend shows in my friends list. Third I have friends who have cheered me and when I try to respond it says we are no longer friends. NONE of these issues exist on the Samsung device. The app works perfectly!

@Bradin9855 some of your problems could be from having the display settings to low, try increasing the display setting and let us know.

@Byte_76Thanks for sharing that your app is working perfectly fine on your LG G4! Happy to hear that!

@Bradin9855I recommend that you update to the latest version of the Fitbit App, version 2.16.2, which was released earlier today to the Google Play Store. Check out the update and download it here. If you don't see it as an available download yet, give it a couple of hours as it was just released. Hope that helps! Robot Very Happy

@ErickFitbit I installed the new version and now it shows NO FRIENDS at all. It says it cannot connect to my device even though the dashboard shows it is connected. Furthermore, it will not allow it to sync with Facebook. It stays on the red swirly and never connects. Smiley Sad

@Bradin9855I recommend going into the "Applications" setting on your online Dashboard and revoking access to Facebook and also revoking access to the Fitbit App from the Facebook side. Once you've revoked access from both, give access to Facebook from your Fitbit App. Hope that helps! Catch ya later! Robot Happy

Ok. I got the app working with friends. But now it's not logging activities. I work out every day between 30-50 minutes. Even if I manually start the timer it's not working right. Today it logged 9 minutes when I worked out 45 minutes! ✡Bracha Radin✡

@Bradin9855Interesting! Have you confirmed if your workout is showing on the online Dashboard correctly or not? If it is showing correctly on the online Dashboard Activities page, logging out and logging back into the Fitbit App for Android should resolve the issue. See ya around! Robot Happy

@ErickFitbit Since the most recent update I'm also having trouble with sync. It keeps saying bluetooth is off, but it's not! My $20 Mi Fit had less problems than this. After spending $150 I'm very disappointed. Yesterday was one week I own this device and it's been one problem after another!

@Bradin9855Can you share a specific example of a time and date that your activity didn't show up correctly on the online Dashboard and also what your expectation was for the activity? That would be super helpful in order to look a little deeper and provide you with some useful troubleshooting procedures to help get you back on track. Robot Very Happy

I would like to send you screen shots. Yesterday was a prime example. I walked and rode a bike about an hour and a half. It logged 9 minutes. ✡Bracha Radin✡

@Bradin9855When tracking an exercise, you have the option of pressing and holding the button on your Charge HR at the start to start the timer and then pressing and holding the button at the end of your exercise to stop the timer. Doing this tells the tracker the time period of when you started and ended the activity to get a more precise activity record. Check out the detailed instructions here. Robot Happy

@ErickFitbit. The screen on my Android doesn't look like that. I only see that screen if I use a computer.

Ps - I was pressing and holding the button. Even that didn't log the exercise correctly. It seems they pushed update today and now it's working.
