Since latest update when I enter my weight it will not accept stones. From setting changed to kg that works. Set back to stones only option to input is pounds when entering new weight. Same on both android devices i use tried logging out and in, reset all devices too no change

Thanks @SulkingSausage 👍👍 for mentioning in your post how to get back to the original weight entry screens (it was on page 3 of 5 when I posted this). I don't know why they felt it necessary to muck about with something that had nothing wrong with it, perhaps it wasn't quite pretty enough for Google? I've made a screenshot of your response in case I need a prompt in the future since I doubt they'll fix it this side of Christmas!

I haven't been able to log stones and pounds. That was someone else. Their
comment didn't make sense to me.🤷😕

The only work around seems to be the following.

1. Press and hold the Fitbit app icon,
(If the app opens, close it and try again)
does require some practice.

2. you should see a list,
Track exercises =
Log food =
Log weight=

Tap log weight = and the app will open to display the last weight logged in
stones and lbs which you can edit and save.

Thank you. That worked 👍

@gillianlesleywh I did what Sulking Sausage said in her post on page 3.  Open the weight section,  click the 3 dots at the top right, then click 'Manage Data'.  About halfway down the page (depending on your phone's text size) you'll see "REVIEW YOUR DATA" in teal green caps. That takes you to the old weight screen where you can just click the + button to add your weight in st/lb. Only downside is you can't add or change the date, it will auto add those at the time of entry and you can't change it in the new screen because it will empty the weight field. The bug is obviously some kind of broken relationship between the old and new weight screen so find a workaround that you can live with as it may take them a while to work out who did what!😅

Great idea @Trophy3 .  You could even go one better and add a Fitbit 'quick access' widget to log weight. Then you'll just have to tap that to enter your weight in st/😁

Thanks so much for this, it worked, at least it's something until they hopefully fix the problem. 😏

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to our new members.

Thanks for your continued reports, and sharing a workaround on this issue.

As I mentioned in my previous post, our team is further investigating and so they can continue working on it, we'd appreciate your feedback on your preferred method for entering your weight in stones. To gather this information, please complete this form with the required information.

Once again, thank you for your patience. I will keep you posted on any update.

Thanks for this SulkingSausage. Regarding the first rule of applications support , "If it ain't broke don't fix it!", what often happens when one company buys a competitor is that they decide they've got their own Apps Support team so don't need the competitor's team. End result is that they loose umpteen staff-years of application knowledge and a fix that could have been fixed overnight, takes months. I've only experienced this problem since I moved from a Pixel 4a running Android 13 to a Pixel 8a running Android 15, so I expect it will be a case of waiting for the next update.

this is a pain, I always entered weight by opening the app and then hitting the + symbol; but I find that if you press and hold app icon on home screen then you get an option to add weight there, which still lets you input in stone & lbs

hope that helps

It's a pretty simple fix just un do the update before the 1st week of December? Honestly the app is awful now the weight thing and layout, the time takes to refresh and update. I don't see why it's taking so long, and we should be happy with a workaround?
