My Charge 2 WILL show I have a message, but that is it. Just that there IS a message.
Before my phone upgrade the Charge2 showed that I had a message, from who and it also scrolled a snip-it of THAT message.
Also, it used to scroll a notification for both my text messages and my messenger messages.
Now with a recent update I have to choose.. I can only have one or the other as a notification on my Charge2
Any advice. Am I missing something??

Hello @MaeJae, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! In this instance if you are only able to see you have a message but not the content of the message, my recommendation is to re-enable this feature on your Fitbit app:
- Unpair your tracker from your mobile device (not the Fitbit app). You can unpair your tracker in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. If you are unsure how to verify or change settings for your mobile device, refer to instructions provided by your device manufacturer. For most Android mobile devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find your tracker in the list of paired devices, and then tap Forget or Forget Device to unpair your tracker.
- Reboot your mobile device.
- In the Fitbit app, tap Allow notifications access and allow access to the Fitbit Notification Service, and then turn on call, text, or calendar notifications one more time.
If is not working, try the workflow suggested in the following post.
Regarding your concern that you are allow to received only messages from one app, this option has not changeg with the latest update. The Fitbit Charge 2 is only capable to received notifications from one application. The Fitbit Blaze or the Fitbit Ionic are the only trackers capable to choose notifications from other apps beside the one you have selected as primary.
See you later and hope this helps to resolved the issue you are experiencing.
